A tight fit!
My old Craftsman deck's idler arm (55) plate was thinner than the replacement. The problem comes when you tighten it on the shoulder washer (54); it locks the whole assembly from rotating. So, I had to install a washer above the shoulder washer (54) to give enough clearance for the plate to move freely while also holding the adjustment pulley firmly in place.
