I chose this item after reviewing all the other choices on Amazon, despite it being quite overpriced for what it is. I generally read the negative comments first and try to discern if niggles would be applicable to me.The trimmer arrived and I tried it immediately - I never read instructions, which in a good product should be unnecessary for basic operation.The thing works very well indeed, clean cutting, sharp and hassle free. I suspect over time all these devices lose sharpness, but Panasonic claim you can get spare blades (which I doubt is true).The water cleaning feature is a bit pointless and doesn't work that well, but then you can clean it much more easily by taking the tip off and blowing out the debris. It doesn't seem to get blocked though so probably won't need cleaning much.If it cost £10-12 it would be 5-star, but I still recommend it.

I didn't need an all singing all dancing trimmer, so this one fitted the bill. Unfortunately I dropped the first one on a hard floor and it became beyond repair so had to re-order. I didn't consider any other makes/models as I considered this one to be good value, and a decent quality for what I wanted. Cleaning under a running tap seems to work just fine and does not degrade the subsequent performance. Certainly would recommend.

A great replacement for a previous trimmer. It takes one AA battery that lasts many days. I like the flush feature, meaning you don't always have to dismantle the head to clean.

Nothing to dislike, works really well.

These type products are usually pretty standard imo, however, this is a HUGE step above the rest I've had over the years. Unlike the others I've tried (including high end brands/models) there is no fannying about trying to catch all the hairs. This catches everything! You can even trim the hairs on the edge of your your ears which all the other trimmers I've used have struggled with. Also amazing at precision trimming your eyebrows. BUY THIS, you won't regret it!!

Easy to assemble, easy to use but not a lot different to all the others, still seems to be awkward in cutting the internal nose hairs which is what after all its all about. It does it eventually but after a lot of flaffing about in their lol

I bough this to replace a Remington which had packed up. It's ok & does the job but I wish it had a travel case - I travel a lot. Mine was American stock but guess that doesn't affect how it trims your ears.

The item is good value for money. When I used it it missed one or two ear hairs.
