As stupid as this may sound - I actually look for opportunities to use this. It's so cool!It struggles with harder cheeses, but other than that it does exactly what you'd hope. I use it mainly for onions and potatoes and leeks etc. and it works great. The action is smooth and I thought I'd have to put a lot of pressure on the handle to slice, but it cuts most things so easily it really is like using a pair of scissors.The blade part (and the handle it's attached to) does come off (via a sort of twisting action) to make cleaning easy, and presumably sharpening when it needs it. Can't honestly say anything bad about it.

Awful - doesn't cut through anything apart from cheese. Very bulky with safety guards but you couldn't cut yourself on it if you tried. Not impressed at all. First bad review I have ever given but don't want people to waste money.

You need to be strong to cut raw chicken and takes a few attempts to cut through it! The same problem with spring onions!! Not like the video demonstrates!

This gadget is the best thing for use in the kitchen. It is very well made excellent price comes to pieces easily for cleaning well recommended buy one now!

This does better as a pizza cutter than anything else, chopping food repetetively (such as carrots) can be quite tricky and hazardous to your fingertips!
