If like me, you are an unobservant idiot, please note that the backs of the pieces are coloured blue for the inside body and red for the outside body - this little snippet of information will save you a lot of time when trying to assemble the jumbled pieces!! The information written is literally only a sentence for each label but that is not the be-all-and-all about this item, in my opinion. The fact that the kids can relate what they are seeing to their own bodies and also learn to read and write the body parts in a fun way is brilliant. It opens the door for a more inquisitive mind to explore the human body and biology in general and my 5 (almost 6) year old was fascinated. I home school my child and this is going to be a very well used learning aid. Unfortunately the first one turned up and it looked used with bent bits and torn paper. I contacted Amazon and they sent another one the next day but unfortunately this one is pretty much the same. It's too much for a three year old to understand not being able to play with the second one so we'll just keep it. It's not as bad as an actual second hand one but there are still bashed corners, warped or peeling paper and bent bits. My son doesn't really care and it would have looked like this after a while anyway but it is a shame all the same. Just glad I didn't buy it as a gift for someone else. On the other hand, it is a great puzzle for a child interested in how the body all fits together. I would give this 5 stars if the construction were of a better quality.
