Update- they are magnetic. The seller contacted me and offered me a partial refund which prompted me to double check the rest of my makeup pots and alas- they all stick except the first one I tried. The compact is indeed magnetic so my apologies to the seller. I’ve since updated this to give it 5 stars. It’s great if you have an Ipsy or Birchbox subscription and want a place to store the pots and samples. The print is also very pretty. Exactly as pictured..............................................................................It’s not even magnetic. What a waste. I’ll probably hot glue my pots so they stay. I really need some place to house them all. And the print is really cute and bright. Almost blinding. But GRRRR they’re not magnetic!!

I was a bit skeptical when I ordered this because of all the reviews about the pans not sticking. I thought maybe it wasn't really a magnetic palette. Let me just say that the people who wrote those reviews CLEARLY don't know how magnets work. If your pans are NOT magnetic THEY WILL NOT STICK. For the price, the quality is amazing. It has a gorgeous holographic reflection to it. You can be able to fit 18 Anastasia Beverly Hills single eyeshadows.

After reading some of the reviews, I was hesitant to buy it. I did anyway, and was quite surprised at the quality. I have Z palettes, but couldn't drop twenty bucks just to house six more eyeshadows. This palette was great! It's sturdier than I expected, the magnetic strip and the magnetic bottom of the palette are fantastic! Make sure your pans are magnetic, and then just pop them in. This was big enough for 6 old Ulta eyeshadows, but I'd say it would hold at least 14 MAC, and at least a dozen of ABH, MakeupGeek and UD.

I have several single shadows from Ulta that I buy when they have a special sale of promotion. I wanted to put them all in to one place so they were easier to carry and I could see which colors I had. I chose this holder because it was much prettier than the plain black sold in the store and came quickly. It arrived in good condition and worked perfectly. It will hold 18 of the small single colors (around a 1" circle). I can now tell in a glance what colors I have...and which ones I need to buy in order to fill it completely ;) Highly recommended.

I subscribe to Ipsy, and occasionally they give me single eyeshadows. Once I had accumulated a couple of them and had no place to put them, I thought I should probably find a magnetic palette somewhere! This palette feels nice and decently made, the closure works well. The price was right!

I really thought i was getting two but no -only one. So the price is a bit much for one. But its is oretty. I had to gdt seperate metal plates so each un potted shadow would stick and though plates i had to glue on the shadows bc thry would not stay stuck. So overall its a tedious /multi step project with modest returns. Good quarantine project I suppose but warning unpotting pproducts inevitably leads to some being destroyed.

This little palette is perfect for my single shadows. It fits 12-13 of the larger Jd Glow, give me glow, or blush singles that are 37mm, or 24 of the 26mm that a lot of the other indie brands sell. The closure magnet, and bottom magnet is decent. I feel like my rather pricey singles are safe in this palette! The brand logo isn’t big or anything either.

I wanted my eye shadows, bronzer, and blush to fit in one compact, and it worked fine for that. It's just a little on the large size to fit in my makeup bag and doesn't stand alone since it does not have a clasp for closing, so it's not ideal for travel. It also doesn't say open when I'm using it, so I have to put a small shadow brush inside to hold it open.
