Yes I did.I didn't think I needed a landing pad for my drone, but the (door) mat I was using was full of dust. I felt like I would eventually clog my drone's motors. Plus, this is super convenient and correctly sized to throw in my backpack. Now I will always have a clean mat for my drone to land. This is a good size and weight. Just perfect!

This helipad works well as a take off spot but the cameras on my DJI Mavic Air 2 don't find it for landing any better than the table I put it on. Mostly, it makes you feel cool to use it.

This should be one of the first things you buy as a drone pilot especially if you plan to take your drone to remote areas. You can never guarantee that you will have a good spot to fly. especially with the DJI mini series drones that tend to sit very low to the ground even if you can find a good spot it probably still wouldn't be safe to take off as you will kick up a lot of dirt and small rocks which could potentially damage your propellers which would make flight unstable or prevent you from flying at all. This landing pad is high quality and feels like it is made from sturdy material and yet is still fairly lightweight. I only wish that they had smaller versions for the mini drones. unfortunately it does not fit my drone's small carrying case. It is literally off by half an inch. other than that small inconvenience I'm sure it would fit most drone cases. (Mine is just extra small as I wanted to keep it very compact.) return to home feature on most drones should be more accurate as the drone can distinguish the landing pad vs surrounding areas. Just make sure that the return to home feature is enabled and that your landing pad is using a contrasting color. (On yellow / orange dirt use the blue side...etc)

This is definitely a lightweight and portable drone landing pad that you can put in your travel bag along with all of your other drone gear without feeling like you've added extra bulk or weight. The entire unit only weighs 12 ounces and fits nicely in a soft pouch for safekeeping. Folded, the landing pad measures around 10x7 inches (smaller than a standard sheet of paper) but unfolds to almost a 20x20 inch square pad to accommodate mini and standard UAVs. It also comes with four plastic stakes that helps in securing the pad to the ground if needed. Unsure of the actual inner material the board is made from, but it is rigid, and the outer layer is a vinyl-like covering that helps with easy maintenance and clean up. This is a nice addition for drone pilots who want a portable launching/landing pad. Oh, and you have two color choices - orange on one side and blue on the other.

This drone landing pad does the job perfectly. It comes with 4 stakes to keep it in place in case you are using your drone in windy conditions. If it's not windy, which is best drone flying weather anyways, it sits nicely ontop of grass. It provides a nice high viz base, either orange or blue, and is easily folded up and stored in a carrying bag that is included. The material seems to be durable to withstand repeated use and I don't have anything negative to say about it. If you have a drone, this landing pad works nicely. I guess it would be nice if it was a little more rigid, but for the price it is a solid product. I am using a DJI mini and it provides ample landing space. It is a 20"x20" square with stake holes at each corner. Hope this helps!

I was really expecting this to be a rolled up mat to put on the grass. I am very happy to say that I was wrong. This is thick, sturdy material surrounded by silicone for the surfaces. Red on one side and blue on the other. The whole thing has areas built in to fold it easily. You just fold it back down and put it in it's carry bag. Super easy. Weighs almost nothing. Compared to my cheap drone, this thing is VERY light. I am new to drones, so I don't know exactly what you are looking for in a landing mat. I have had no issues landing or taking off on this. I have crashed on it several times. (Make that MANY, MANY times...) The silicone absorbs the impact and doesn't damage the propellers. No knicks or tears in mine yet. If it can stand up to my horrible piloting, you will be just fine. :)

Nice and very sturdy material ! Also very lightweight ! When folded is compact and easy to carry . Dimensions when folded : 10x8. Unfolded is around 20x20. This is a must have ! Good quality landing pad. There is little nice carry bag as well included with the package . Highly recommended !
