Q: I would like a CD Mp3 player that I can use without headphones. Does this work that way or any suggestions.

If you search on Amazon for 'pillow speaker' that will bring up options to convert any device with only a headphone socket into an external sound device where no headphone is needed.

Q: DOES IT PLAY NORMAL CDS?

The machine plays music CDs purchased in the High Street. It us also supposed to play CDs containing MP3. There is a button to enable this which doesn't seem to work. Not mentioned in the specification, there is a power socket for external 1.5 V power supply.

yes it play`s all CD`s pre recorded & your own that you made up

I think it can use ac adapter but doesn't come with one
