This stuff has a medium hold. Not a true beard wax at all. More like a Heavy Duty Balm! I’m soo done with this company.

Holds all day, the wife loves the scent with vanilla. Moisturizes, while holding wild hairs in place. This can I've bought. 2 from Amazon, 1 from in town. No problems with itch, rash and mixed well if I decide to add a little something extra. Wife can't keep her face or fingers out of my beard.

This stuff works great for me. However I wish they wouldn't price all of these the same, making it so they have to skimp on the Sandalwood which you can barely smell if at all depending on your senses being acute or not. I almost gave it 3 stars but the stuff really does work well and the smell is not offensive at all and is light. Mostly you just smell vanilla. I would gladly pay 5$ to 10$ more for a heavier level of sandalwood. I have worked in health food stores for years and I am aware of the extremely high price of sandalwood oil. It would be nice if they marketed a more expensive one that really smelled of sandalwood. Because it would probably be the only thing on the market like that, that is not synthetic. And I am sure there is a large enough group of people to spend the money on something truly authentic like this. Four stars for the lack of sandalwood being present. I also have Honest Amish Beard Wax. These to me are both quite similar in hold for my beard. I will be trying other Badass Beard Wax scents out. I do hope someday maybe they will up the ante on a sandalwood version.Update 5/12/18 - Upon further use of this and Amish Beard Wax, I do notice that the Amish one is more dense and does have a little better hold. However I still use both.

Everyone seems to have a different regimen of products that works for them, for me it’scremo’s conditioner left in a wet beard for two minutes, rinse out, pat dry, and then immediately apply this delightful smelling wax/balm.I have tried at least 3 other products outside these two, and I am happy to say I need search no more. Worth the price, bought a couple months ago, probably have a couple months more to go.NOTE: if you are new to using beard wax, like I was, don’t dig up chunks of it! Scrape layers off the top instead, you’ll have a much better time melting it in your hands.

Let me start off by saying my beard is my pride and joy! This bad boy is all natural and without use of ‘beard growth & supplements’. The only thing I put in my beard has to have natural ingredients. This Bad Ass company has met my expectations! The wax has a great feel without a heavy weight to it. This wax is on the lighter side of a medium hold but keeps the unruly hairs in place while still having a natural look. I would have given this 5 stars but I feel the scent of the beeswax can overpower the intended scent.

My beard is pretty frizzy after washing, and balms I'd used didn't do much. This doesn't have super strong hold, if you're trying to do a serious "style" it may not be the right stuff, but it does make my beard look more groomed and neat. The scent is by no means strong and wears off quickly, but it's pleasant enough. It also rinses out completely with hot water, and I notice that my beard is noticeably softer afterwards. All in all a good purchase.

Badass Beard Care Products live up to their name. I've tried many a wax, balm, and beard oil, but Badass products are the best. The beard wax/balm melts easily in your hands for application ... no caking, or beading ... just melty goodness to keep the beard healthy. The scent is subtle and in no way overpowering; as a person who has allergies to certain perfumes and scents, I have no problems with the scents ... great mixture. I lean to 'The Biker' scent (... "too old to rock and roll and too young to die" - Jethro Tull) for both the beard oil and balm/wax. I tend to use the wax in the morning after showering, after beard oil has a chance to soak in. Then, I use the balm in the evening, unless I need the control of the wax. The three make a great combination: oil, balm, wax. The guitar pick applicator is clever! I wish there was a smaller container that one could take with during the day. Great work, BABC! Rock on.

Great product and use the original scent daily. The Patriot has many more ingredients than what the amazon site shows. FYI

Nice, easy to use and nice smell, quite a hard wax, but not too hard to use, good at holding shape. Would get the extra star if it held a little bit better! But overall worth trying!

If you are looking to style your beard or tache look elsewhere, this product does not have good hold. The only positive is the fragrance which does smell really nice.

Buono, vaniglia forse troppo insistente, purtroppo non è una cera ma solo un balm leggermente più solido. Col barbone che mi ritrovo non serve assolutamente a nulla per lo styling, però almeno tiene a bada qualche pelo ribelle.

I found this wax more of a balm in that it stayed "wet" but it did help control a mid length unkept beard.. I will be buying more.
