Out of all the different phone stands for the cars I have owned, this one is by far the best. The others ones that are adhesive they don't stick long term. I live in a city that gets really hot so the adhesive just melts away. This particular product, has been so great, I don't use my CD port so it's perfect. Super sturdy, and keeps my phone in place when I am driving.

I've tried a few cd player phone mounts and this is the best I've found. It is very simple, with just a self closing clamp to fit the phone into. It is easy put in or take out the phone with one simple motion, although it works best using 2 hands. As it is just a simple clamp there are no panels or trays to clutter up your dash or obstruct controls when a phone is not installed. Unlike other mounts I've used there are no annoying sounds or vibrations. Most important, it holds the phone very securely. Great value.

Been looking for a mount that keeps the phone out of windshield view & doesn't rely on suction cups. This worked out perfectly. Never use the CD changer in my stock head unit anyways. Clock number display is just a weee bit hidden when in use, but nothing major. Super sturdy, great viewing angle. Perfect fit in an 06' Saab 9-5!

I should have contacted the company before writing this review initially. I was frustrated and had made many efforts. However, the company contacted me right away and offered to help me get this figured out. They sent photos, and an actual person with a name followed up.A friend checked it out for me and got it all working. The phone does still have a tendency to slip through, but we think we have that figured out by putting a rubber band around the phone. I will report back on that.Meanwhile, I amended my rating and if I can use a rubber band to fix the remaining issue, I'll raise it again. I am very impressed with the customer service and do recommend this company.Was: Unusable - falls off and won't tighten enough to stay on. I have a Chevy Silverado.

We bought this before a 8 hour trip. The reviews weren’t great but we bought it anyway. It worked perfectly. If you’re going to be using your cd player obviously this isn’t the mount for you but for us. It worked perfectly.

this thing is a waste of money. it worked great for about 3 days, then it started falling out. so i screwed it tighter & the stereo in my fj cruiser stopped working. so im replacing my stereo now... thanks alot.

This may because I am not that strong, but after 8 turns I physically cannot screw it into place any further and after a few uses it will always fall out of the disc slot. So its pretty annoying to put it into place and then fall out, then put it in again and fall out. I had to ask a friend to help turn it past I could so I will see how long it stays now.

I tried several suction cup phone holders found them lacking. would not stay in place, or too bulky, sometimes both. This guy works well though it does block part of the display.
