This set includes pretty much everything you need to practice. I got an extra bag of practice balls so I could take more swings without having to retrieve so often. The set comes with only 3 balls. You'll find yourself spending more time retrieving balls than swings with only 3 balls. The matt works well at showing your location and direction of your club head travel. The matt accommodates tees for your drivers. So, it's good for both irons and drivers. Only concern is the thinness of the surface as to how well it holds up. So far, I'm satisfied.

The mat clearly reveals the location, direction, and orientation of the moving clubhead face relative to the ball. This information is critical to a golfer at any skill level. Further, after each strike, the mat is easily readied for the next one. One merely swipes the mat in a direction opposite to the strike.But the mat has a downside: its thinness. Upon ball contact, the clubhead should be moving downward in its arc. It should then continue downward until reaching the arc’s low point. But, because of the mat’s thinness, the clubhead has little room to complete its downward arc after hitting the ball. This prevents an assessment of divot depth, an important piece of information for the golfer.

The mat is not as thick or heavy as I imagined it would be. It works well but if you dig in too much it will pull up the stakes. It does it's job of helping identify your swing pattern to make corrections. The material is fairly thick so the swing pattern is easy to recognize.

This practice mat set gives you just about everything you need to practice inside, minus the clubs! Foam balls, anchoring materials for the mat itself, tees, and a nifty carrying bag to stow it all!On first impression, the mat did seem a little on the small side, requiring anchoring of some sort (it includes Velcro and mounting stakes). Although, maybe if it were a tiny bit larger, it wouldn’t need any anchoring.The grain of the mat can be easily set by brushing it back (a brush would be nice to attack to a club or something so you don’t have to bend over). Upon contact, it can show you the direction of the club head, just ensure you set the carpet fibers in the right direction!A rubber mounting base allows you to place a wooden tee in it for tee shots. Although the placement of this was way rearward on the mat, which is strange if you want to practice with, as there is a potential of missing and scooping up the edge of the rug with your club head.The carrying bag ripped within one use. It just wasn’t made well enough for it to be kept together. I wasn’t expecting a bag, so it was a nice bonus in the short period it lived.It would have been nice if the manual had some more guidance in what all the different markings were and how you might correct your technique based on the characteristics of your swing.For the money, it’s a solid practice rug for the amateur golfer.

Intent seems to be to get you to hit properly relative to ball position and it does that.For the advertised price, a pretty sparse setup - although exactly as advertised.Nothing wrong with it, but I couldn't assess it as a good value. Maybe something to give a golfer as a gift, it's probably not one he/she has.

I'm not sure how many swings this thing will actually take, but so far a couple sessions through it has held up. It's quite thin on top which is what makes me believe it's not a long term golf tool. So far so good tho.
