good value for money spent
all good, easy to assemble, looks even better than on photos. Downside is the way that is packed/protected for transit, no polystyrene only cardboard and then shelves... 2 items arrived damaged, one very slightly but the other one was no use whatsoever, simply broken shelves. The Seller is very fair as very quickly sent brand new replacement (whole unit) which arrived not damaged and the Seller did not even requested returning faulty/damaged unit so I had no hassle with posting it back. I have recommended Seller improvements to the way it is protected for transit.so in simple words: should I need one more (possibly) I would buy again from this Seller.

Flimsy until assembled
Here's what I learned from assembling these shelves.1. Unpack carefully unless you want the one of the wooden shelves scratched more than it will already be, lay it flat and peel off the carboard otherwise the uprights/supports will scratch the wood.2. Patience is key when assembling and you will need a mallet, make sure the tabs on the supports don't exit the uprights on the outside, it is easier if you site all the supports loosely and then tap them in with the mallet using a flat blade screwdriver to keep the tabs on the inside of the supports.3. Finally, position the shelves before loading and only pick up the unit by the uprights below where the join is otherwise they will fall apart, I decided to secure the uprights with a £3 piece of 34mm square timber cut into 8" lengths and secured using the holes designed to join the units together which then allows me to lift the units from anywhere on the uprights, do not lift by the shelves.

Good shelving, but disappointing aspects
I'm using this item for garage storage. On delivery everything in the box was in perfect condition. Now it's in place, and screwed to the wall for reinforced stability it feels like a solid shelving system as of now - only been in a week, time will tell but I'm very hopeful it's going to last a long time. If this was all there was to it, it could have been 5 stars. However there have been a number of annoying factors.First to notice is that the MDF shelving only measures 4mm thick. But there are two front to back metal support brackets attached to the metal frame spaced at 40cms under each shelf.Putting it together is fairly intuitive, but the lugs on the side pieces of the frame and the front and back pieces of the frame sometimes don't emerge from the upright as they should when you push them in - happens about 1 in 4. The instructions are awful at attempting to advise what to do to make it emerge. What I eventually figured they meant was to use a screwdriver or equivalent to bend the metal slightly so that the lug emerges on the inside of the upright. Unfortunately that resulted in the black paint being scratched so I'm concerned that each one is going to become a potential rust point.Next one is that each upright consists of two pieces joined by a 10cm (4") right angled bracket. There should been 4, one for each upright, but they were missing. I contacted the supplier who said they were going to send them within 7 days. They came after 3 days but sadly there was only two of them. Another annoyance was that the delivery company, Hermes, put them in our wheelie bin and it was unpleasant fishing them out as they're dropped to the bottom, but then we know Hermes are rubbish so it's not a product deficiency, although I might not buy from the shelf supplier again because they use Hermes. I couldn't be bothered to pursue this so connected the two uprights at the back with blocks of wood.So to conclude, I'm happy with what I've ended up with for storage, shame it was a bit of a trial. If I need another unit I might buy the same on the basis of better the devil you know, but the Hermes factor might make me hesitate.

The small pieces holding the board were bit tricky to assemble.
