Shoe Goo - Adhesive Glue - Clear - 110ml/3.7oz Tube

It worked a treat on sandals from which the soles were coming off. It is a very thick glue (goo is a suitable name!) so it is challenging to get it into small gaps. Sets hard in a few hours. Using a spreader helped but ultimately a finger was best. Small bits of glue on one’s fingers can be rubbed or peeled off but nail varnish remover worked well for bigger amounts. Note this version contains solvents unlike the newer formulation (I believe)

works well - but needs a little while to set.

Item not tried yet but have heard good reports. It arrived on time and all okay.

If you are planning to use this for a cricket bat, get this NOT shoegoo II That is a defferent recepie that does not work in the same way Great bond strength and no leakage!

I am a farmer so my boots get used and abused. A pair of my Meindl's had one of the mid-soles falling off and I have tried other glues on other shoes however Meindl's are not cheap. I read the reviews and finally bought the original Shoe Goo and some Shoe Goo 2 (which I still have to try). I followed the instructions and wire brushed and sanded the parts to glue so they were clean and had some grip then use a liberal layer of Shoe Goo, clamped them together and left them for 72 hours. I have no planted ver 3000 trees in wet weather in them and they are still holding firm.... So I will definitely be using Shoe Goo again

I was pleased when i first applied this to the soles of a pair of cracked trainers, however, once worn, the soles wear again quickly and need repeated application. I guess this would be good for small breaks but it is not a permanent treatment.

Ideal for reinforcing RC car bodies when combined with dry wall tape.

I discovered this stuff about 15 years ago. It is superb, easy to apply best applied with a wet knife or spoon that way you get a perfect application with no residue on your applying tool. Clean and rough up the area for best results BUT you don't have too, it seems to work OK, depending on how dirty the area is your applying it. I always use this to fix up my skate shoes. 100% recommended to every skateboarder and my friends are surprised with how durable it is, how strong the adhesion is, how easy it is to apply AND the fact it stays so rubbery and flexible after application. It keeps the surface waterproof and grippy and does set very clear.
