On a tree climber 24 ft high, the foot base broke, and this rope held my 260lbs body with harness for about 20 minutes. I was rescued by EMS.This rope is 100% a life saver!

Products received were as advertised. Functional as designed to.

So the lines are very short. So you won't be able to connect your harness from the ground all the way up to the top of the stand. What you'll have to do is install the line and it'll tie down some where near the top of the stand and then you'll be able to connect the line and head up. So for most of the climb up the stand you won't be secure. Line is of quality, the carabiner is quality, all of it WILL WORK. but in my humble opinion, it's not an ideal set up. Not bad for the money.

This is a good quality linemans rope set. The pre-tied end knot & end loop as well as the included prussik & locking carabiner made this essentially a plug and play option for your saddle or climbing harness. The carabiner is a standard locking climbing carabiner that is solid black, as opposed to red or orange, which is perfect for what I needed. The sheath on the rope does have yellow dots on it, which looks nice, but they probably aren't large enough to catch the eye of a deer or elk.The only thing a little odd about this, is the end with the loop is significantly thicker than the rest of the rope. It seems they stitched a longer tag end of the rope for the loop than other lineman's I've had in the past, and then put shielding over the entire stitched part. This likely makes the loop stronger than others, but it could pose a problem if you were using this as a backup bridge, which I had considered.

The rope is woven to loose that makes the prusat hard to operate.

I ordered these and decided that I needed to test it out before needing it, in case of an accidental fall from my tree stand. I tested them out by putting them in the tree and strapping into my harness right above ground level. This held me very nicely and did not observe any issues with the rope that would be concerning in case I actually fell out of the tree by accident. I weigh 200lbs and would recommend.
