Great Series Ending! Loved this!
RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥🔥West and Jasper were the perfect ending to the CU Hockey Series, and I enjoyed this book immensely. We got a glimpse of West in Asher’s book, but getting to truly see who he is and what he willingly sacrificed for his siblings, made my heart melt. And watching Jasper, a tough as nails professor and victim of childhood bullying find a place where he fits and is appreciated for who he is… well I was just a puddle of the floor. When Professor Jasper Ekstein refuses to give Asher extra credit because of his bias against Hockey Players, Coach Westly Dalton barges in to set the record straight. After some amazing verbal bantering, Jasper agrees to give Asher the extra credit, and as a thank you Westly agrees to attend Jasper’s 20 year high school reunion. After that, what was supposed to be just one night, turns into so much more.I love the dynamic between West and Jasper so so much. How Jasper essentially becomes West’s safe space and West thoroughly changes Jasper’s view on athletes and his own self worth. I love that the kids feature so prominently in this and that Rhys and Jasper end up bonding as well. Watching two adults try and figure out all the mess life throws at them and keeping most of the conflict on everyday family struggles instead of relationship doubts was just so refreshing to read.Watching someone find their person is so rewarding, and the fact that West ends up with his happily ever after and just still keeps showing up for those kids… words can’t express how much I loved this!Plus we got to see a lot of our favorite faces from the previous books, and even though I’m not ready to say goodbye, this book was the perfect send off!RECOMMEND!

Great series
And we finish the series with our assistant coach and Asher's big brother. He goes from confronting Asher's teacher to dating him on the sly. For me some of the best parts of this was him helping the other kids and starting to become a part of their family.

A great read! One of my faves from Eden!
Puck drills and Quick Thrills is book five in the CU Hockey series. A MM sports romance.Jasper harbours a grudge against athletes because he was mercilessly bullied in schoolWestly gave up his NHL career to become the guardian of his 5 siblings after losing their parents and the assistant coach for his brothers hockey team.Westly confronts Jasper when he refuses to give his brother and hockey player extra credit to improve his grade. This sets their whole story in motion. When Jasper needs a date to his high school reunion, who better to take him than the hot ex NHL player.Snark and sarcasm is one of the foundations of Eden and Saxon’s books and this book fits the bill.I love the dynamic between Jasper and Westly. The age gap provides a great balance in their relationship. They compliment each other perfectly!
