I already loved Jacobs from book one, so the moment I saw that is was Becks that he was paired with, I squealed.Jacobs grew up less financially stable that a lot of his counterparts, but especially the ulta-wealthy Beck, and they have never gotten along because Beck never put in any effort. So when they are both up for the captain position at CU, their dislike of each other turns into t heated rivalry. And then it turns into something neither of them expected.I love the banter and rivalry between them and I loved how it slowly morphed into something really tender and beautiful. I also loved that the main angst point in the book had nothing to do with the boys, but instead had everything to do with Beck’s father. I really like how that conflict was resolved too!I also really loved the spice in this book because it really moved their relationship forward as they opened themselves up to each other. Becks absolutely stole my heart and I will live Topher and Teddy Forever ❤️I
