KitchenCraft Mini Salad Spinner / Dresser, Small Multi-Use Salad Washer, 19cm (7.5")

I bought this one as it wasn't too big. Works great. It's very sturdy and salad comes out lovely and dry. Pop it all in the dishwasher (top shelf).

Wonderful piece of kit for da kitchen: compact, solid, effective and reliable as a great veg and fruit spinner. Secure opening and closing mechanism feels perfect. Spinning is achieved effortlessly to perfection. Highly recommended if you need a small (19 cm) spinner. It takes hardly any space on any worktop.

I wanted a small salad spinner and this one seemed to fit the bill.Pros: The size is right for a reasonable amount of salad for one or two. The spinner is quick and easy to use and gets rid of the water fast. Seems fairly sturdy. The inner bowl could be used as a draining basket/colander for all sorts of vegetables.Cons: The actual outer bowl is solid and therefore water can't drain from it directly. Can't wash salad leaves via the tap directly in the spinner as - see above - no drainage.Verdict: the right size for my small kitchen and it dries leaves quickly and easily. I'm keeping it despite the cons (which irritate me).I was unable to find a small salad spinner (or, indeed even a large one) that allowed you to directly wash salad leaves with water running from the tap and to drain directly into the sink as you were spinning it. It seems a spinner has to be dual purpose and that the bowl should act as a salad bowl. This is pointless as you need to throughly dry the bowl before using it for this plus the bowl isn't really the right size or shape. There is also (in my view) a useless facility for dressing the salad which would also require you to dry the bowl thoroughly before using it and then the entire item (top, insert and bowl) is likely to get covered in salad dressing and require a good hot soapy wash. The interior of the top would be particularly difficult to wash due to the usual construction of these things. Perhaps ok if you have a dishwasher but would be a proper pain by hand.

Good size - fits in fridge. Great for washing and drying lettuce. Well designed - the lid clips on and nonslip feet.

This is a great find is compact very easy to use and store plus it’s most importantly does the job really fab job the lettuce leaves are always dry.

Ive had no problems with this. Its easy to use and is the perfect size for what I need it for. It spins well and gets rid of the excess water. I recommend it for small amounts of fruit - like a punnet of strawberries

A slightly smaller size which suits me. Works well and easily cleaned. Reasonably robust. Pleased so far.

Funciona a la perfección, si nunca has tenido uno, te quedaras embobado viendo como gira y como de secas se han quedado las lechugas en unos segundos. Tiene el tamaño perfecto para una persona o para hacer una ensalada pequeña para ponerla en el centro de la mesa.Si quieres hacer más cantidad de ensalada puedes hacerlo por tandas (Se tarda más en echar la lechuga y sacarla que en quitarle el agua) o buscarte uno más grande.El centrifugador es muy sencillo pero efectivo y consta de: - Bol de plástico - Cesto donde echar la lechuga (Esto es lo que gira) - Tapa con enganche para giraComo punto negativo decir que el bol es de plástico y no de cristal, lo cual hace que pese menos (Pero probablemente también se termine estropeando más rápido con el uso)
