This particular projector is great for kids at night. It comes in a variety of colors and projects different kinds of colors. One thing to notice is that the colors do not rapidly change color so it is not something that you have to worry can cause seizures but still use your best judgment. The project does require to be plugged into the wall and is not battery powered. It comes with the USB cable. You could actually run this off your desktop or laptop if you want. The device is not too heavy but it is big. It could be something that you take on the go with you. The projector is pretty durable so it is not something that could get crushed inside your backpack. It is pretty easy to control. There is a remote control that allows you to control the brightenss of the device. The remote is pretty easy to use. It does require line of sight in order to get it to work. It utilizes a coin battery in order to keep this remote a small form factor. The projector will always shine in all directions except side ways so if you have this at your bed stand it will not project directly into your face. The usb cable is very basic and nothing special. You could easily replace it as needed. The pink is a nice color The device is pretty easy into clean. The white part is prone to yellowing as my niece left this in the sun. The pink on the other hand did not seem to change color which is nice. The lights are not super bright so you do not have to worry about the lights being too bright to sleep in. Overall this is a nice little night light to have. It projects pretty calming lights. It can be adjusted accordingly. It does not shine extremely brightly so it will not keep you up. It also designed not to shine sideways so it is not blasting light into your eyes if you are sleeping near it. The remote is a nice thing to have if you are trying to change the device from afar. I am pretty happy with the projector. It was a great gift to my niece and definitely something she loves.

Sometimes it glitches and doesn’t work on the spin feature (we just don’t use that feature), but overall it seems to hold up pretty well. Love the timer feature as you can set it for hours and hours, if needed. Very bright and the batteries last a while

The night light itself is impressive with the vibrant colors and multifunction capabilities. Gave 3 stars because power cord does not hold up very well and cord wires became expose at the base of the light only a few months after purchasing. Should be able to use some electrical table to fix, but concerning to have this happen with children’s toy.
