Perfect fit for 250gm pack of butter
It arrived in perfect condition, no scratches or marks. I washed it and put it straight into use as I'd broken my previous butter dish. It's nice and light and looks great out on the table, great value for the money. I can't understand the people criticising the size, it holds a standard 250gm pack of butter. Okay the lid fits a little snugly but you'd have to be careless or shaking to scrape the butter when you replace it, I'm 70 years old and I can manage it.

Managing my expectations! For £8, this is a bargain, it’s a nice heavy / sturdy dish. But, the price reflects the size. It cannot fit a block bigger than 200g or if you buy 250g or 400g blocks they need to be cut it up. The dish doesn’t fit flush either, so it’s not creature proof! Ants or flies can easily access it as there’s gaps around the lip of the dish.Overall, nice looking and sturdy item. But you get what you pay for.
