Really nice product. I have a tournament sized board that I take to breweries and coffee shops, and it's very heavy. Not really practical for when I travel by plane to visit the family.This is a great size. I can roll is up and out it in my fanny pack for when I go hiking with friends. Plan on switching out the doubling cube for a smaller one I have, so I can throw in two smaller dice to use as score markers for matches.

I love backgammon and this was the perfect set to play poolside! We ordered it while on vacation in Miami and got it delivered the next day to our hotel. Love the small size when rolled up, and the pieces weren't too small which I would have expected from a travel size. Lots of fun and great quality!

I like the size best! It is rolled up& is a little difficult to keep it open when using it.

Love this little set and will be perfect for travel, long times of waiting around at work, and nature/beach days. The only thing I wish was a little studier might be the zipper, but I JUST got it and that is a first impression. I'm just gonna be careful with it and it should be fine.Overall though, the quality, the suede leather, and the build are all wonderful. The chips are also really great too. Heavy for their size and remind me of my dad's nice set. If you're looking for a great portable set, I'd look no further than this one!

perfect size. good handfeel. fits easily in the water bottle pocket of my backpack or in the door of my car. pips are a good size and roll into board. board is weighted enough to lay flat without staying curled, even after long periods of not playing.pip-pocket at end of board is a little awkward if you're not on a completely flat surface, but it was worth the purchase.

So, we were suspect that we could enjoy playing backgammon on a soft leather “board.” Well it’s great. We needed a light weight portable solution for traveling in Spain and Portugal for a month and this worked great.We only travel with a small carryon bag each and everything has to be considered carefully. This soft leather (real) roll with nice smooth pieces fit the bill. Well made and would buy again for a gift for others.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law, who loves backgammon. When he opened it the first thing he said was "I can't wait to bring this on my next trip". The quality is nice, and the pieces feel good in your hand. The set rolls up tightly and is easy to pack for travel. A great gift for the person on your list "that has everything". I had looked at similar sets which were much more expensive and am happy with this purchase. I'm going to buy a set for myself.
