Easy to install and it is very bright!
The reason I bought this was because, I 1st bought an TH3D EZNEO for about $17.00 and another $5.00 for the 24v to 5v adapter. The ezneo took about 3 hours to hook up and another 3 days to setup and flash the firmware. After about a year the ezneo started to go nuts, it would start flashing and changing colors with no rhyme or reason. I talked to TH3D about how to fix but they gave me the run around, saying that they would not replace it and I probably did something wrong. Anyway, sorry bout that, they just miffed me off.So, I looked around for another kind of light I could use and found this. Took me about 20mins to assemble and install. Works great!NOTE: do not waste your time trying to connect the power cable to the mother board!!!! Just connect the cable directly to the power supply 24v B+ terminal on the bottom of the supply. Black to the - terminal and Red to the + terminal. This makes your life sooooo much easier!

Works great with Ender 3 Pro
Fits perfectly into the Ender 3 Pro, provides some much needed light to the build area!Installation is simple since you just have to wire it into 24 V. Requires a bit of PSU disassembly, so you should be comfortable tinkering.Comes packaged very nicely, very secure and cushioned.Plenty of wire length to run through the extrusion cavities. Everything snaps/screws together cleanly and the design flows really well with the printer, it doesn't look like some hacky add-on.A must-have for Ender 3 owners!

Easy to install. Very bright and high quality.
Oh my this this light is so bright. Anyway's I am tired of using the flash of my phone to flash it to see how it is printing. My room is hella dark. I hate light. I'm like a vampire. LOL. But anyway's instead using my flash or turning my on my light. I use this. This is so great. It even light up half of my room lol. I'm just going to use it to see what's going on. How my computer setup. The 3d printer is behind my back. So I have to twist my computer chair to look and the switch is right there i flick it and i can see. That better then getting up turning on my room lights. Better then grabing my phone can be i left my phone at living room so i have to get up and turn on room light ugh this solve my back problem. LOL Please creality add a simple nob to adjust the brightness. Ty Creality and Amazon.

Very good, worth the money
The Con: the right and left arms are warped a bit. As a result, they don't fit extremely well, and only engage the light bar itself about half-way on each side. So I let each side overhang halfway, and then got some black electrical tape to fix each in place so that it can't move all the way left or right and fall out. It's a minor kludge, functional but I'm taking a star off for a QC issue, since Creality makes both the printer AND the add-on kit. You'd expect it to fit perfectly, it doesn't.The pros: Very bright light, exactly what I needed. The printer I installed this on is a Ender 3 Pro, and it's in a dim corner of the room. I use a Pi, an Arducam, and Octoprint (highly recommended) for remote control printing, but needed better visibility. I certainly got it.The Ender 3 S1 has existing connections in the right rear corner (same place as on the Enter 3 S1 Pro) but I needed to add a 3-pin connector to make it seamless. Otherwise, I'd have needed to run the wires down through the base under the unit in some way (the power supply has extra 24V terminals). There was no convenient method apparent, and I had the correct crimp-on terminals and plug to use the existing topside connection. Took some fiddling the route the wires down the right-side Z axis bar, but it's now neatly tucked away.Overall: Recommended if you need the light. I considered a "roll-you-own" 3D printed alternative with LED strips, but decided to tread myself instead.

Overall Good, But Not a Perfect Solution
I've done very little upgrading on my Ender 3 printers. I've printed most of the upgrades. The Ender 3, generally, is fine out of the box. That said, I don't tinker with my printers much because they've been working fine for years. Why did I decided to upgrade with this Z axis upgrade kit?Did it solve my problems?I upgraded because, for the first time, I printed something that was over 150mm high (Z axis). When the print is finished, the X rail is left at 150mm so you can remove the print. After I removed the print (which was successful), I lowered the X rail by auto-homing. It was then that I noticed that over about 125mm the right side was "shimmying" down while the left side (the side with the one Z axis lead screw) was completely smooth. It bothered me. I tried tightening up the wheels on the right Z rail. It still shimmied. So, for my purposes, this upgrade solves my problem. The shimmy is gone. But, if you're buying this hoping your bed tramming will stay true this probably isn't what you're looking for by itself. Both Z motors spin independently if the stepper motors aren't locked. So one side can (and often will) be lower/higher than the other. For the specific function of this upgrade, it's 5 stars. Print quality did improve on very tall objects. It didn't change at all on smaller ones. It is relatively easy to install. But, I gave 3 stars for stability so that people understand that it's not a defect of the product. You should set your expectations accordingly.

Great upgrade for the price
This was not the easiest to install, and I'm no stranger to hand tools. Bring some patience.Other than that, this is a great upgrade. When attached to a dual Z motor board {i.e. BTT SKR mini 3 v3}, there isn't any flex, wobble, or droop issues. I mainly bought this to go with a direct drive extruder, so the added weight would not cause issues on the Z axis. This kit also comes with supports for the top of the Z axis rods on both sides. I haven't run this through the ringer yet, but so far, very happy with the purchase.Note: This dual Z motor upgrade/application costs less than the single Z motor belt driven upgrade. Also, the supplied Z motor cable can attach to two motors, in case you have a single Z motor board.

Works good. Cheap quality.
Easy to install. Cheap quality though. The brackets that hold the led barely hold onto the LED causing it to have a slight gap. My OCD hates that. Sturdy enough tho

Works on regular ender 3
I didn't realize it was for the neo, but it still works on the same frame size as original ender 3. Not overly bright but enough to see your prints with soft light. It's a clean install, with cable management.

Brightens up the whole room!
This was very easy to install and it makes my Ender 3 v1 look much more modern and is absolutely so bright! I just wished I could cable manage better but that's user error, it's a great light!

Exactly what I needed!
I added this kit to my Ender 3 Pro, and I'm glad I did. Where my printer is located there isn't a lot of light, so I was often doing the 'flashlight checks'. I Installed this kit (in like 10 minutes), and I'm very satisfied. It looks good, fitment was perfect, and it is plenty bright. They want you to wire it to the printer mainboard, but I chose to wired it directly to one of the spare 24v outputs on the power supply, which cut my installation time. Overall, I would give this kit a five star rating, but I knocked off one star because (as another reviewer pointed out) the little rubber 'boots' they use to cover the electrical connectors going to the switch do not completely cover the metal connectors. I simply pulled the boot back and wrapped the exposed part of the connector with some insulating electrical tape - problem fixed, (if just for looks alone). That aside, I would still recommend this kit.
