Overpriced not at all a quality product
Really overpriced, it's not supplied with an adaptor so you have to use batteries!! Or buy an adapter, what a rip off for £150

Cute but not worth the money paid
First of all, I do like it (and I hope the person I've bought it for will too) but it is way overpriced for what it is and I've a few complaints;- As with most things, it doesn't look as good as it does in the pictures. The tree is everything with this collectible and is what least matches the images shown on Amazon. On the images here, the tree looks like it is rough-cut and intricately detailed to give it extra sparkle when in reality there is no fine detail and it is smooth and pebble-like all over. One of the images on here would also suggest that the star lights up in a different colour to the rest of the tree but it doesn't.- It's smaller than you might expect. I did read the measurements in its description before purchasing but even so!- It can be powered by an AC adapter but one isn't provided. It can also run on 3x AAA batteries.- The base is also made from plastic, not wood.- Rather annoyingly, the wintery scene at the base of the tree is covered in the same glitter you find on Christmas cards. It also comes off very easily, as it does on Christmas cards. I ended up covered in glitter during my minimal handling of it as I tried to put batteries in it to give it its first test-run.- You can hear the little train whirring around even when the music is on full volume. All that aside it is nice to look at, particularly in the dark with the tree and the light from the houses all aglow and the train chugging along. To fully appreciate all of the lights, particularly those from the scene below and the train, it's best viewed in near complete darkness. The sound quality of the Christmas melodies is pretty decent and if you get sick of hearing them, you can switch the music off and just have the lights on instead. This tree will be on display this and every other Christmas in our house I would imagine.
