Quality door bell.

I was looking for a good quality and stylish wireless doorbell with a good range because I did not want to have to fuss with cables. The Bell push and ringers arrived securely packed and on time. They were of excellent quality. They were very stylish and included the Bell push, two ringers, fixing screws with the option of a double sided tape fixing and included a battery for the bell push. The bell push was very easy to install using the screws provided and the ringers simply plugged in. The wireless bell worked first time and the range was good enough to send the signal up 2 floors in my house. I am very pleased with my Tecknet product and would certainly recommend it to others. It gets a 5 star rating from me.

Overall I would recommend this. Very good price compared with other similar products. Delivery fine & easy to set up. Lots more tunes than you will ever need (I suspect most will just use the basic tones as most are a bit cheap & cheesy, but it's funny going through them & who knows maybe the Christmas ones will get used!). The light strip flashes in time with the tune played so gives a visual indication that someone is at the door if you place it in a visible place (eg. if you want to have the TV volume high). Compared to a conventional bell I like the fact the 2 sounders are portable & you can plug them in anywhere around the house. The choice of setting individual volume for each unit is good & the loudest setting can be heard easily in adjacent rooms over normal TV/radio noise. The units are constructed of fairly cheap plastic (I would be careful when screwing the bell push to a wall - i have used the self adhesive pad) but once in place their appearance is fine & they look better than they feel. It would be better if the bell push unit was a little smaller so it was a little less conspicuous on the door frame (it is quite deep considering the electronics inside). One of the reasons I went for this is that you can always add another single unit for only about £8 more if you want to expand the sound range to other floors or a garage.

I wanted one bell push and 2 sounders (house & workshop) so I bought two sets and paired 1 to 2 and works great.

Would recommend these these, they are an excellent buy ! Would definitely buy these again. Good some who is hard of hearing too.

Door bell button could be better quality. Cover on front for protecting notes does not stay on very well. The receivers are OK but a lot of the tunes are very tinny. The basic door bell sound is OK. Unit has the ability to learn a code from a further receiver so another one can be added to the group (for garage or shed...) But you cannot buy an extra unit!! You will have to buy another complete set with a further button??

The bell is easy to install and works really well. Most important is that you do not need to worry that your battery is running out - you really do not need batteries for it. The doorbell has also a plug in chime with several tunes to choose.
