Clear Silicone Adhesive Sealant & Gasket Glue Maker

I used this to repair the glass on our over after the adhesive on one side had failed. This is purpose made for this task and if you follow the instructions, it works perfectly.The inner glass on the upper oven door of our under worktop double oven had come loose on one side. It did have one retaining screw holding part of the frame and door handle in place but the adhesive that the manufacturer had used had failed.After carefully cleaning all the old adhesive off, I used this to fix it back together. There is a 24 hour cure time, though it does go off within a few hours. I used small plastic diy cramps to hold the joint together while it set. It is similar to the type of sealer used in bathrooms and does smell of vinegar while curing. Several weeks on and the joint is still perfect.

First tube came out with great difficulty, like rock hard toothpaste. After 72hrs still the same consistency, it did nothing. Fair play to the seller, they sent me another tube to try. Second tube came out a bit better, it was at least a little stickier and more fluid than the first, but after 48hrs it skimmed over but didn't stick at all. Both times oven door glass and metal brackets were fully cleaned down and prepared, so only thing it can be is this product. Seems like it's old stock which is long past end of life and went off in the tube years ago.

Used this to botch up a door seal on a Mercury Cooker where the door seals are discontinued. On the old seal the metal hook had torn out over time and it fell off. The after market kits I could buy didnt fit the cook well. So I resorted to trying this to a) stick the hook back into the old door seal and b) then sticking the whole seal to the oven door. Was a bit tricky to make it neat but its worked really well. I left it 2 days before using the oven and like other customers it smoked and smelled a little first time of use... but that stops after a couple of hours at temperature (I just left it hot for 2-3 hours with nothing in the oven) and since then its been just great. Sits in place all nice and neatly and does what an oven door seal should do. (Like seal the oven and not bother you otherwise). 4 rather than 5 stars for being a bit smokey and smelly to start with. But good stuff.

My oven door split apart and I thought I would have to buy a brand new oven altogether. I found this product on Amazon and tried it out of desparation more than anything. I got my partner to apply the glue. What a mistake..he only applied half of the tube and closed the two halves together without even waiting for the glue to go off first. I decided to re-open the two halves and apply the rest of the glue..got nothing to lose, only the cost of the item which I wasnt expecting to work for a single minute anyway. I am pleased to report that despite our best efforts to completely destroy the effectiveness of the glue, the door has stuck absolutely solid and has never attempted to move since. I use my oven door without even thinking about it now. It has been in place a few months now. I can absolutely recommend you try this before lashing out on new doors or ovens. If a nob like my partner can do his worst and be beaten by a tube of glue, you lot should be alright.

This is not for conventional glass oven doors, it doesn't set because it doesn't get hot enough on a normal glass door.

I bought this product especially for the glass in my oven which came adrift after cleaning, I re installed it using a normal clear silicone as a temporary measure until the above glue arrived. I did not require it as the silicone is holding well much to my surprise, However I tried to glue plastic to plastic using the above glue, first of all it arrived quickly but the package disappointed me it seemed quite a large container. When I put the nozzle on and pressed there did not seem too much product and before any glue emerged from the nozzle the container was less than a third of its origional size. So not a lot of glue for the size of the container. The glue did not work and was not set after twenty minutes so I gave up and bolted the two parts together. Overall quick delivery disappointing volume and did not adhere the parts.

Absolutely brilliant! Instead of the big expense of a new door , or even bigger one of a new oven it has cost me a tenner to stick the inner glass back on. The biggest task was to clean the glass, but I am glad that I did it properly because three months on and door is still good as new.I you tubed how to take the door off and stunned my mother by doing it in thirty seconds, it really is simple. I still have some of this excellent product left over.

I opened the top (cut an opening as instructed) - squeezed the tube and almost immediately all of it came out from the bottom instead (it split open, was poorly constructed) and made a huge mess. Was useless.

Dovevo riunire i due vetri del forno scollatisi. I centri assistenza mi consigliavano il cambio del forno in quanto operazione secondo loro effettuata solo dalla casa madre. Dopo attenta pulizia, come consigliato dal produttore, ho posizionato il sigillante e dopo 24 ore di attesa il risultato è stato molto positivo. E' trascorsa solo una settimana ma tutto rimane perfettamente incollato.

très bon produit , résiste correctement pour coller des rétroviseurs sur pare-brise et différent éléments dans une voiture, sa transparence permet de légères erreurs, j'ai même réussi à coller certains éléments dans un frigidaire, il faut bien respecter les épaisseurs sinon ça a du mal à coller, néanmoins son prix est un peu onéreux à utiliser à bon escient je le recommande
