LAMY Z 50 Extra Fine Nib Set - Black

so far these are my favourite size nib. I have quite small hand writing so these nibs were perfect. the feel and feed back when writing is very good and adds to the writing experience. It's a very personal choice but I think they are great. I have never had and issue with ink flow, skipping etc. Just great value

An extra fine Lamy and no spin!

Arrived quickly. Once fitted it just worked perfectly instantly. My old nib was obviously damaged because the difference with this new one is huge. Perfect ink flow without any priming. I wish I'd replaced the nib years ago.

Easily replaced my old lamy safari F nib with this- after a few test paragraphs it now glides smoothly. I find it to be a great quick on-the-go drawing nib too. Not as thin as some other brand’s EF but it’s still a reliable, robust and user-friendly nib you can get for the price.

Good build quality and easy to replace. However, if you looking for a really fine nib then this ain't it chief. It lacks that precision and lets too much ink through. But, if you are looking for fine /medium size then this nib will do just fine....sorry.

Bought for a Lamy Vista - Perfect fit Didn’t arrive in a blister pack but is stamped with Lamy and EF Black in colour Easy to remove my “fine” nib and replace with the EF nib - you literally just have to (gently ) pull one off and slide the other on. Lots of videos on you tube of how to do it if you get stuck. (Tip - do it somewhere where it is safe to spill ink, for example the kitchen sink) I found a definite difference in line width between my fine and this new extra fine as can be seen in the photo. All nibs/ ink feathered slightly in the width test but that’s due to the (non wood based) paper I used, not the nib itself. On the TR paper In my journal it writes perfectly. At first after fitting the pen wouldn’t write, I simply ran my finger down the top of the nib to draw the ink down and it worked. Comparison with others: The line width compared well with TWSBI EF and the pilot Kaküno F. Just a hair’s breadth thicker than the TWSBI and almost identical as the Kaküno. I bought this to upgrade my Lamy pen to better fit my handwriting style. The nib is perfect quality and game changing, smooth to write with and looks great. I had a problem that the first nib sent got lost in the post and never arrived, the customer service department was amazing and got a replacement sent out quickly. Highly recommended.

Dentro do esperado, uma boa compra

Seit ich studiere, habe ich viele Stifte ausprobiert. Kugelschreiber, Gelroller, 0.5er Friction von pilot und viele andere. Dadurch ist mir aufgefallen, dass ich es liebe, wenn Stifte sehr dünn schreiben. Die pilot Stufe habe ich erwähnt, da die sehr fein sind, Fehler korrigiert werden können und in verschiedenen Farben erhältlich sind. Jedoch habe ich nie das Interesse an Füllern verloren, doch die haben für meine Zwecke immer zu dick geschrieben oder sind verschmiert. Jetzt habe ich mal vor paar Wochen (Ende 2018) die knapp 10 € in die extra feine Spitze investiert und bin sehr glücklich darüber! 1. Es wird weniger Tinte verbraucht, zwar gibt es auch Kombipatronen günstig zu kaufen (z. B. Rossman), doch ist es trotzdem ein Vorteil. 2. Wie man auf meinem Bild sehen kann schreibe ich viele Formeln und da ist dünnes schreiben von Vorteil! 3. Da weniger Tinte verbraucht wird, trocknet die Schrift extrem schnell. Auf den dutzenden Seiten die ich geschrieben habe ist bis jetzt noch nie was verschmiert. Ich kann kurz nach dem schreiben (fast sofort) mit dem Finger drüber fahren können und es passierte nichts! Und meine "Angst" Schreibaussetzer zu haben durch Tintenaussetzer beim schnellen Schreiben hat sich glücklicher Weise nicht bestätigt. Zudem ist auch kein kratzen beim Schreiben zu spüren. Ich bin extrem zufrieden und kann es jedem, auch Schülern in der Oberstufe sehr empfehlen. Leider sind fast alle Lamyfüller im Schreibwarenladen mit dickeren Varianten erhältlich.
