Got the babyliss straighteners for my 28yr old daughter in september 2024 they are so good ive just purchased another pair for myself, they are absolutely fabulous. Superfast heat up with lots of heat setting. Super sleek straight hair in just one glide, with a heat/hair protect option. Lovley and light weight, well made quality straighteners. 100% better than my ghd golds, so will be using these from now on. Also really good price as twice as much in stores. Superb. Strongly recommend

I personally have had the straighteners for about 5 years now. They are the best straighteners that I have ever used and I am also a hairdresser. I bought the straighteners as a gift because they are that amazing that I recommend them to everyone. All my friends asked me to bring my straighteners with me when we are going out because they don't want to use their own. It leaves the hair so soft and silky and literally only needs one or two strides over your section of hair. There is also a button for people with fine hair that protects the hair and adjust the temperature for the style of hair. I would not recommend any other straighteners to anyone. After 16 years of hairdressing I can honestly say that these are the best straighteners that I have ever used. And in my opinion a lot better than GHDs

Great hair straightener that's ionic and has a protect modeCan't see any significant results compair to regular ones but get my daughter's to use this only on protect mode & happy but ionic features as they protect the hair more

I used to have an old BaByliss from 2013 and it lasted until recently so i decided to stick with the brand. I had trouble deciding between the different models and finally i chose this one. At the beginning it took me time to get used to the handle and to find the right temperature but after a bit i got it and now i find it quite good.It heats fast and the round edges are good to do curls. The only down side is that the plates get quite hot and you cannot hold them on the top, which makes doing curls a bit complicated sometimes.Update 2024 - I bought this product in 2017 when I posted the review. Still going strong and works perfectly and I use it nearly every day. Take it with me in all travels. Never an issue.

I should have listened to other reviews - the heating display has stopped working. Its dangerous as you can't tell if the straighteners are on or not. Also, the variable temperature is no longer working - it stays at the initial temperature and will not go higher.Neither Amazon or Babyliss will refund as its outside the 30 day window for a return. But you really do expect an item like this to last longer.I wont buy a Babyliss product again - better to go with a more reliable brand.

Great quality, protects hair, easy to use and heats up fast! I’ve had these 2 years now and still as good as the day I got then

My hair is fine, but there’s lots of it, it’s also wavy/frizzy. These straighteners really make your hair pin straight, but also remove any traces of frizz. I can straighten my long hair in half the time it would have taken with the GHD’s I owned before these, plus you can adjust the temperature. My hair is still straight the day after too, which is unusual for me. I would definitely recommend. Great value for money.

Not as AMAZING as the marketing suggests but perfectly serviceable and good value is purchased for under £50. Any more than that and I'd say don't bother, it's not worth paying the premium.
