Pretty cards but a little on the large size

I've been reading the Tarot for years. I have owned easily at least 100 decks over the years. One problem I have always had in buying decks is, I might base a purchase on seeing some of the artwork, but inevitably discover one or more cards that I just don't resonate with, just don't like, for whatever reason. That makes it hard for me to work with that deck. I keep buying decks because I do love a lot of the art and I'm always searching for just the right deck, but never finding it!I was so surprised how drawn I was to this deck. It's very simple. The gold ink on black offers a somewhat simplified (but still beautiful) version of the Rider-Waite-Smith imagery. I actually like that it does NOT have some of the details of the RWS deck, because while those details can sometimes open up new ideas, by the same token they can be limiting because they steer the interpretation of the card in a particular way. Having the simplified images allows greater scope for the intuition, I feel.Also, this deck is simply beautiful in its own right. The cards look and feel lush. I love the guide book. It doesn't go on and on with the writer trying to make their stylistic mark. It's designed to READ WITH! Many people say they don't use the guidebooks or "little white books" that come with decks. That's fine but I'm always open to learning so I at least give them a look, and I love how this book interprets the card based on the kind of reading you are doing: general, love, finances/work. Each has its own section, plus a section on reversals if you use them. Very practical and good information.My takeaway is, don't underestimate some of these lesser-known decks. Some of them, like this one, are real treasures. This is a deck I will USE, not just look at!

The cards are gorgeous! I adore them and even went goblin mode when I got them open. The sides and backs are so shiny you can practically use them as a mirror if you hold the deck up to you. The front is not super shiny which is great as you don't want to not be able to see the cards if it's particularly bright where you're doing your reading. It surprised me how thick they are; it's not like an inch thick per card but it's definitely thicker than I'm used to.Not only are the cards gorgeous and the energy I get from them amazing, the book is exactly what I've been looking for and ultimately what sold me. it's so hard to find a book that gets straight to the point and you don't have to spend 20 minutes picking out what's important and whats embellishment. It has all categories (general, money, love, career) and it has upright and reverse of each, and the symbolism is it's own category. The only thing that it doesn't have is keywords for every section or even just reverse which is fine. It has the general keywords for upright.Packaging was great and everything was in immaculate shape when received.10/10 would 💯 recommend!

Granddaughter loves them. The cards are very sturdy and durable. Love the color w the gold trim.

Beautiful and bold with a easy to read booklet...

Cards are large and sturdy, I found them difficult to shuffle, but I have my ways to sort them out. The guide book is nice and clear, however there is no glossary for the major arcana to find the page you are looking for easily. The spreads are nice and easy to use.

These are So PRETTY! I can't wait to start using them but flipping though initially I am very pleased with the images and the quality of the cards!

The black on gold foil is only on edges and backs of cards. The face of the cards are a flat gold colored ink., this looks very nice on flat black background. Illustrations are whimsical and insightful. The book may have been translated to English from another language. Sometimes text describes items not on card. I enjoy working with this deck. shuffleing in smaller piles is suggested do to large size of cards. Overall quality deck. Box is strong and will last also.

Beautiful deck, gilded edges and extensive guidebook, tho the size of the deck was smaller than what I thought it would be. Was hoping for the cards to be the large size tarot and was disappointed it was the smaller size deck

Decepcionante. Mucho más pequeñas de lo que dicen. Resvalan al barajar. Las compré porque eran grandes y llegaron de tamaño normal. Nada recomendable

Wie bereits einige andere Rezensenten angemerkt haben, sind die Karten kleiner als erwartet. Auf einem Foto hatte ich gesehen, dass die großen Karten fast die Größe der Umverpackung haben. Die Karten, die ich erhielt, füllen jedoch schätzungsweise nicht einmal drei Viertel der Schachtel aus. Dadurch liegen sie auch lose in der Verpackung und beim Anheben hört man deutlich, wie sie darin umherrutschen. Ich werde sie zwar behalten, empfinde den Preis von 50 € jedoch als zu hoch.
