ELINOIR Wifi Repeater, Azaleas Network Wifi Range Extender 300M Wireless Booster Mini Repeater/AP Wifi Signal Booster and Access Poin With Wps

Did not work at all as repeater!! Do not buy this item. Bought this to connect small appliance device that only had physical ethernet port. So this Wifi device from Tentsky should have acted as a repeater, connected to my Wifi network, and let me plug the appliance into the LAN port so that it could get network connectivity on my home network. But it doesn't work. I tried for hours, tried everything I could find, but no luck. Tried hours of Google searches with various key words, but no help. The manual is very poorly written and far from complete instructions are given on how to use almost any of the functions of this device. The web interface they tell you to connect to at 192.168.1.254 is very very poorly built. The web pages often don't finish loading all the way, and you frequently have to try refreshing your browser. I tried all 3 major browsers on Windows, Chrome & Firefox & InternetExploder but still no better luck. I could this Tentsky wifi repeater device connected to my network okay finally, but when connecting my phone or laptop wirelessly to this repeater, it would never give them any network settings like IP address, DNS, etc. And I tried my laptop plugged into the LAN port of the repeater, but still no network connections at all. So the simple and sole purpose of network repeater for this Tentsky device fails horribly! Returning it immediately. Do yourself a favor and buy a better quality product.

This unit only works with the cord, not wirelessly. I am hoping that if I get a new one it will work as expected.Also, and more importantly; the help line that appears when you google for support help leads you to total scammers. They pretend they are going to help you and ask if they can look at your computer through a screen share service, then if you let them like I did they plant a bunch of BS foreign IP addresses on your hard drive and tell you that it will be a one time payment of $79.99 to fix it.I'm dumb obviously because I let them get that far, but I'm not THAT dumb. I hung up and called a IT expert friend who helped mr delete all of that stuff, but there goes an afternoon of your life. Only to find out that the stupid unit is defective anyway.NEXT TIME I'll just get a Netgear Extender.

I wish I'd returned it. Unfortunately I kept trying to put the thing together with the hope of a better outcome. I even put it on the floor finally and put my whole top body weight on it and it still wouldn't turn and go together. I finally gave up. If you're a techie and have a magnifying glass you might be able to read and understand the instructions. No instructions on how to put the back on or a note that it's impossible to do. It says use a toothpick to set the signals. What product today uses a toothpick to set something, and if setting the device to certain receptions is as difficult as putting on the back, I'll predict the toothpick will end up stuck and broken off in the hole. DON'T BUY THIS!!! A total waste of money. Disappointing. Aggravating.

Ok, I have a few of these and they work, but barely. This is the problem, there is no support for this device. The vendor just says " Reset the device" . That is not a proper answer. There is no website to support this device. There is no firmware to update this device. When you put it in AP mode, you can never log into it again, (unless u reset it). I would have to tell everyone unless the vendor starts giving us answers to not buy this device or anything else from this vendor. I unfortunately can't give it zero stars. I wish Amazon would let me. DO NOT BUY THIS !!!!!

Our rental unit sits about 70 yards across a field from the office where the main router is located. The internet will make it across the field and onto the porch, but can't get into the rental unit. We plugged one of these in on the porch and weather-proofed it and it does a wonderful job of repeating the signal into the house. Fast enough to stream Netflix and work online.To those who gave it bad reviews: Read the directions. Follow the directions. Had ours up and running in less than a half hour.

I have a 3200 sq/ft single story home with a whole lot of walls and doors between my laundry room on one end and my master bedroom/bathroom on the other end of the house. In my master bedroom/bathroom...my signal flat out sucked! One bar at best and just a lot of buffering and spinning while trying to stream any content or even to just look at social media.I ordered this product...had to install it twice, not sure why it didn't take the first time but after the second time following the instructions found in the questions/answers here on Amazon...BAM, full signal in every single spot I can find in my house. Pretty much exactly why I bought it...so far so good, nothing to complain about here.I will say this...the instruction booklet it came with, way too much for me. I used the simple steps found in several of the answers on Amazon and like I said, had to repeat the instructions twice...worked fine and I'm very pleased.

I've bought two of these because they are so useful. I "borrow" my internet from my dad next door. This picks the weak signal up like a dream and it shares the signal a long distance. I can walk the driveway in the evening (1/10 of a mile) and still get signal from my house at the end of the drive. So there you have it! Easy to set up too.

I had to use a magnifying glass to read the instructions and I also had to look on the device to figure out the installation, but once set up, it works flawlessly. I've been using it since November 2017 without a hitch.On December 9, 2017, another user, Quill Bear, wrote out the instructions you can search comments for them.
