Awesome addition to add to my camera accessories. Clips and centers right over my iphone camera. Adjustable neutral density filter helps to reduce the amount of light coming into the camera while enhances the colors. Helps to enable slower shutter speeds as well. Works really well for taking photos and videos outside, captures movement really well. Really portable and easy to take off.

I used this on an iPhone Xs MAX. I was shooting in the desert where the sun was very intense. The variable ND setting was great. You're able to adjust the amount simply and quickly. I shot mostly video and the ND filter made the color look astounding. Loved it!Only issue with this filter on an iPhone Xs Max is that it does not cover both the wide and tele lens on the phone at the same time. I needed to adjust it's position each time I wanted to change to the other lens. Very easy to do...but not convenient when you're trying to shoot something quickly. This is the only reason for taking off a star.It's quite light weight so balancing the phone on a gimbal was easy and did not cause the gimbal to get all out of whack. I used a Movi Freefly Cinema gimbal for the iPhone. It balanced nicely without the need for addition counter weights... however, I needed to be very careful of the ND placement. Because of the small amount of extra weight the phone needed to be mounted slightly closer to the gimbal's joint. In some of the shots you can just barely see the gimbal joint in the far right side of the shot. Since I shoot in 4K and edit in 1080 I can easily crop that out without losing anything, but again a slight inconvenience.I would recommend this anytime for a very effective and economical solution for an ND filter on your phone. Just be aware of the things I've mentioned.

My filter was delivered on time. It was in its box in a small sealed plastic bag in a large shipping plastic envelope...ok but not that great. Would be better nested in a larger box with packing material. But...was in good shape.Opened the small box and pulled out a rigid plastic container. Ok not bad. I opened the top and the filter and clip were in their own plastic protective wrap. That's a good thing. But...the box appears designed for a larger filter with three notches for 3 filters. The box is not at all designed to hold the filter and clip securely either assembled or unassembled. What's up with that? Hey Newer - how about packaging the filter and clip in a reusable storage box designed to fit the product? Also, how about including a soft carry pouch to carry the assembled filter and clip?The clip and filter themselves seem to be of good quality. The filter physically seems to operate as advertised and mounts into the clip securely. I have not had a chance to use them yet so may come back with another review once Ihave a chance to actually use it on my iPhone 6S+.So far - Happy with the filter and clip themselves as far as quality etc. Not happy with the packaging/storage container at all.3 stars - filter and clip seem to be good quality but storage/packaging keep it from getting more stars.- Delain

*EDIT: June 3, 2019*I've had quite a few issues with ghosting while using this with my iPhone 8+. So much so, that I'm no longer using it and therefore changing my rating. I don't know if the issue is with the glass itself or with light leaking in because of the clip on nature of the filter. I'm considering a solution like the PolarPro Iris that covers both of the phone's lenses to make it easier to switch between wide and tele.*Original Review*I got this for shooting with Filmic Pro on an iPhone 8+. It secures onto the phone very well and I haven't noticed any distortion or aberrations in my images. It works very in allowing me to take control of my aperture settings.My only complaint is with the plastic box. When the filter and clip are assembled, they don't fit into the box. I prefer to keep the two attached since the clip is plastic. It takes a little finessing to screw them together and I fear the clip's threads won't survive a lot of use. No lens wipe is included either. A microfiber pouch might be more useful than the box it's currently shipped in.If you can find a way to conveniently and safely stash this in your camera bag, you'll be satisfied with how it performs.
