Good quality but it kinks when pulled out from a coil. Gardena telling porkies

Excellent quality hose, this is the best quality hose on the market. Solid build quality, kink free and superb connection system. Highly recommended.

It would be easy for the casual on-line shopper to infer, from the opening phrase under Product description; “Gardena 1/2” comfort HighFLEX hose with power grip design, comes with original GARDENA system fittings” that the hose in question would arrive with original Gardena system fittings.Wrong. It doesn’t. It’s just a 20m length of hose.That disappointment aside, the hose seems suitably robust and (when fittings are added) conveys water from one end to the other fairly efficiently. It looks to be durable but, because of its relative rigidity, I found it difficult to manage without the aid of a hose reel and it was inclined to kink. I can only assume that the soubriquet “HighFLEX” applies when comparing the hose to, say, an iron bar. I’ve subsequently invested in a hose reel (of a different make) which greatly assists the process of rewinding it into a compact dimension for storage.

It is ok, but it kinks quite badly.

All good so far it’s a heavier hose to one I’m use to also bought the reel l to go with it the one with guide which makes sure you reel it in straight .
