This unit does not record continually and does not match connections with my older version. so as far as I am concerned it was a poor purchase.

Well packaged, clear instructions. The product worked as expected.

This is an item where the old saying `you get what you pay for' is very true. For the price the actual live image from the camera is quite impressive but the play back image is terrible! At about 3 metres distance a footpath runs past our house with a street light on the opposite side of the road. After I had installed the CCTV and once it was night time I waited for a suitable `target' to pass the house and eventually two youths walked slowly past. With bated breath I played the video back to see two indistinct grainy objects moving across the screen with the only identifiable feature being that one was wearing a dark top and one was wearing a light top. Even if they had been close relatives I doubt if I would have been able to identify them from the video. A waste of money! I have now done a bit more homework (courtesy Google) and have spent the best part of £500 to get something that actually does the job.

Following troubles with this camera I sent it back to Friedland ,they returned it with commments that it was faulty and advised me to send it back to Richtronics ,this I did and have found their customer service to be very efficient inthe way that they dealt with my numerous emails following my complaint that they didnt want to know and kept referring me back to Response with my problems < this was due to the fact that as they bought direct from Friedland they would be the ones to deal with the complaint but friedland disagreed .We have now finally resolved the problem and they are returning my money but unfortunately I still have no camera (HELP)

I’ve only given it one star as I can’t give none. Menu is not easy to navigate. The picture is awful. All I could see were ghostly grey shadows. No chance of being able to identify a face.
