High Grade 10 Blue Velvet (Light Blue) Neocaridina Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the 10 pack. Received 12... 2 or 3 died, but that's expected. 2 were pregnant and produced babies. 3 babies are pictured in the video. The shrimp are very active and healthy. I received them back August. It's now almost November and they are not only thriving, but multiplying!!! Great buy!!!

I ordered a variety of colors from this seller to put together a skittles tank. I think all shrimp - including brown wild type are cute and fascinating. So, I am clearly not overly concerned with grades and color quality, etc. All I can say on that is these shrimp were all appropriately vividly colored and very cool to look at. :)A majority of the shrimp arrived spunky and commenced ravenously grazing in the tank after a good drip acclimation. Received one or more berried females in each color, which was a definite bonus. They all seem to have held their eggs through the move, so I am super excited about that. In the past week, my tank has been covered with successful molts, which I consider a good sign.I did have a bit of bad luck with the initial shipment of red cherries from this seller. The weather turned unexpectedly cold mid-shipment and the bags on top just had a bit more exposure I think - no one's fault really. But, only 5 of the red made the trip alive. The seller responded to my message through Amazon within 24 hours, as promised. Replacements were immediately provided with no argument and I now have 6 live ones in their place - so 1 extra. :) I did do my best to provide the seller pictures of the bag/bodies immediately upon receipt before opening, which I recommend you take on any livestock purchase. It's only fair to the seller.Overall, I am very happy with my purchases and the seller's willingness to respond to and resolve issues quickly when they did come up. Can't ask for much better! :)

The media could not be loaded. I ORDERED BLUE VELVET SHRIMPAll 12 Shrimp arrive Alive!I made my order at the end of December just after a -45 windchill cold snap. So I am very thankful it warmed up to 40's by the time it shipped. As a heat pack is not included.It was packed with loose insulation and a silver barrier bubble pack. The bag is dounle bagged. There is a mesh in with the shrimp to provide them some stability during shipping.The Shrimp were cold when their arrived and very sluggish. I allowed them to come to room temperature before moving them to acclimated to their tank. This way they didnt increase in temperature to fast.The shrimp were put into a well established tank. The tank parameters are in the photo. This tank has been used to grow plants for the last few years and had only been used for quarantine. So there is plenty of alage for them to enjoy and it is stable. Which has helped to maintain their activity.I was hoping that their lack of color was just due to stress of shipping. There is only 2 shrimp out of 12 that have remotely close to the color in the photo. The rest are a very translucent blue. They look closure to a Blue Jelly Shrimp at this point. But I am hoping with some conditioning they will get their color back.I am aware that prior to shipping aquatic pets are not fed for several days to reduce waste during shipping. So time to fatten them back up.NOW! To the wonderful surprise. ALL the females came barried. So we will be having plenty of baby shrimps soon. So I am excited to see all the new cute little shrimpies!All in All I do believe this has been a great buy. I had no problems with my purchase. I recieved all of my shrimp alive and thriving so what more can I ask for.I will definitely come back again in the future for more shrimp varieties.Thank you for my new shrimpy friends.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered 10 Blue Velvet shrimp, but unfortunately, it seems that all of them turned out to be hybrids, with some clearly being Red Rili shrimp. While I appreciate that all the shrimp were alive, healthy, and four of them were pregnant, I can't help but feel disappointed. It's important for sellers to accurately represent the products they offer. In this case, I specifically wanted Blue Velvet shrimp, not a mix of different types. Despite the unexpected outcome, my fish tank is thriving.
