How long it takes to cock an omelette?

Has anyone cracked(sorry!) poached eggs please? I end up with hard yolk and uncooked white. Tips appreciated!

Jasmine don't cook your eggs on full power, I use fifty percent power for two minuets on my 900w microwave, you may have to experiment with the time until you get your eggs just right, on my first attempt I had the hard yolks too but I just kept on checking on them every ten seconds, you might also like to check YouTube there are so many hints and tips to help cook the perfect egg. Good luck with your quest.

When poaching eggs does it need to be filled with water? Or do you just crack eggs and close?

Just put teaspoon of water and its fine. I did it without and was ok but a bit of egg did stick on the bottom

Is the soup cup and egg cooker leak proof?

I have only used for eggs . I carried the eggs unbroken in to work in the container so it wasn’t liquid. Haven’t used for soup but used the same make soup mug and that doesn’t leak.
