Is similar to Chanel no.5 and does not stay too long on your skin so it does not become stale and is fresh and lovely.

WHAT'S IN A NAME ?.... A LOT APPARENTLY
I ordered one of these as a birthday present for my sister in law after hearing a BBC Radio 4 programme wherein it was explained that the formula for 'Red Moscow' had been created by two French perfumers in Russia during the latter period of Tsarist rule. One of them - apparently - then nipped back to France with several of the perfume formulas that the two perfumers had created together - one of these fragrance formulas being for what was to be called 'Red Moscow' in Russia. When back in France he presented his selection to Coco Chanel who was delighted with one in particular and decided to give it a name which is now very-very famous. That may be why Red Moscow and Chanel number 5 seem extremely similar. Not so the price however. Having related all that information why do I end up getting a bottle with the label affixed out of alignment to send on as a present ? Eamonn

I smell like an old Soviet woman and I love it.
Wonderful fragrance. Promptly delivered. Somewhat reminiscent of Chanel no 5 and powerful- and significantly cheaper .

love this scent
The bottle top wasn't screwed on fully so it has a lovely smelling box! However not too much leaked so I still have some left to use to cheer myself up with.
