You decide....
I am giving the Oregon blade 3 stars so as not to be unreasonable, but I am very disappointed. The Hyundai Blade in the picture is the original blade off my 4 year old Hyundai Brushcutter. It has only had occasional use in that time, but the blade has certainly had some hard knocks. As you can see, the Hyundai blade is badly worn, but not at all bent. The red blade is the brand new Oregon blade I received only yesterday, and used once today. To be totally fair to the Oregon blade, I did hit a hidden concrete fence post while cutting back some thick nettles. Several of the teeth are badly bent.I'm not really an experienced brushcutter user, so I don't know for sure what is reasonable to expect from hitting a concrete post, but I have to say I am disappointed.

Weed beater
The first one I received was slightly distorted and created excessive vibration but was quickly replaced. I have used it for about an hour and it works well, coping with thick grass, weeds and brambles, including hawthorn whips. Much better than constantly replacing chord and much easier to use as less resistance. Well worth the money

Thin but efficient
Way more efficient than the mulching blade in terms of battery life, but it is a lot thinner so more easily damaged. I did about half a kilometre of overgrown verge first time out - brambles, thick nettles, ferns and some gorse. All were annihilated but I had to sharpen the blade afterwards from a few dings with the ground. If they made it in 3mm plate it would be epic.

Brilliant for tougher weeds
Brilliant for tougher weeds, saves all the wasted time of fixing broken cord - could be lethal though if not properly fitted I think.
