ARCCAPTAIN Plasma Cutter, [Large LED Display] 50Amps Cutter Machine with 110/220V Dual Voltage DC Inverter IGBT 1/2 Inch Clean Cut Post Flow and 2T/4T, for Beginners DIY

Been using the cutter for a few months. My only complaint is that since it's a "drag" type cutter it goes through the consumables pretty fast. The bright side is that the replacements for the cutter are not expensive and very easy to get. The air pressure regulator is a little touchy but works as required. I have a small shop compressor so I have stop cutting when I hear it kick on. I've only used this on 250VAC 50 amp supply so i can't comment on the 125VAC operation. I've cut everything from 18 gauge sheet steel to 3/8" steel plate. Not exactly industrial strength but it works great for my hobbies and repairs. Controls are simple and easy to use.

You will be hard pressed to find a better plasma cutter at the price point. This thing worked fantastic during my smoker build and cut very well and clean. May not be for everyday use but for the hobbyist it is near perfect.

Did some reviews of plasma cutters after using one on my friends. I didn’t want to spend a lot on a product that I would probably be used a few times a month and happened to come across an advertisement for the arccaptain 50. The reviews on YouTube were very positive, the price was right, so decided to take the plunge. When I received the cutter I was surprised how light and compact it was. I tried it on 110 and it work good until my air compressor kicked on. I had to order an adapter for the 220 since my 220 outlet is the old 3 blade type. Tried on 220 and was surprised on how well it cut. My friend stopped by and was so impressed that he ordered him one to replace his 15yr old cutter. Over all I am very well pleased with it and hopefully it will give me years of service.

Im not a pro, just a hobbiest, so I dont use it day in and day out. That said, I've had a few of the budget plama cutters and in each case, I went to use it and it didn't work which sucks on the weekend when I need to get something done. The Cut 50 hasn't done that to me and works each time I hook it up. Do yourself a favor and get the adapter to use 220. I wouldn't waste your time trying to use 110. Excellent machine. Setting it up with my grinder, benchtop belt sander, and other tools under my truck when Im working is awesome and saves my back from having to get up and out to get other tools 30+ times a day.

Prettiest dang good little machine. When I say little I mean little. Was kinda taken aback by the size of it but it made up for it in performance. Cut everything from sheet metal to half inch with it so far. Went thru 1/4 inch like butter. Only complaints are the regulator is wonky on the back and not good quality. It’s very “flimsily” mounted. You will want and need to take off the stock connector and put a male fitting in its place for an air hose. Be careful and firmly hold regulator doing so because it doesn’t seem secured very well inside machine. This machine is very touchy with the air pressure settings. You’ll get used to it. The ground cable is kinda cheaply made but works. The amp selector has no stops it just spins all way around. All in all it’s a fantastic machine for the price. I wouldn’t go out and use it on the pipeline but for a hobbyist and light duty work it’s great!

This is a great portable machine for light gauge cutting. It will cut heavy items but seems to struggle. It is perfect for HVAC spiral duct and cutting sheetmetal. It works well on auto body as well.

This is my first plasma cutter purchase. I am restoring an old John Deere riding mower and needed to fabricate a mount for new motor, etc. After watching several videos and reviews I decided to go with this one. In my limited experience it’s a good one. It’s easy to set up and operate. The controls are simple. It comes ready to use right out of the box. I did make one change before even turning it on though. It comes set up with a hard line air fitting instead of a standard quick connect for an air compressor hose. So I changed that so I didn’t have to fool with putting a fitting on the hose it comes with. It took a few practice cuts to dial in the settings and for me to get used to using it. But it does a great job.

For the price the cutter works fantastic.
