Kismet Magic by Maison Alhambra for Men - 3.4 oz EDP Spray

I believe I have to preface this with the fact that this needs to mature/macerate. You are doing a disservice to yourself by not giving this time to sit and develop a bit in a properly stored environment if you wish to get the most out of this fragrance. I suggest spraying this 3-5 times every third day for a couple weeks or so and storing in a cool dry environment out of direct light. This fragrance will be overwhelmingly alcoholic feeling otherwise and is not what you can get from a little patience. Do not store fragrances in your bathroom to avoid fluctuations in temperature and humidity. The idea of Kismet Magic is very simple to describe. Imagine a warm cinnamon apple pie filling with a slight booziness which develops a bit of woods over the dry down and slowly fades in sweetness over the total duration. It starts slightly harsh over the very initial opening few minute or two but then it just hits that amazing apple pie scent right away with an acceptable amount of depth and then the sweetness fades linearly over time opening to a more pleasant woods sort of relief from the strong incredibly warm sweet start. Occasionally you may get a touch of every note isolated here and there throughout the duration but I also personally detect a cacao or chocolate note which I do not believe everyone experiences when they wear it. This fragrance performs fairly well generally lasting quite a long time and having an appropriately middling projection which I believe is safe for such a strong warm scent. I however cannot call this versatile at all and I believe this is very clearly a cold weather fragrance maybe even leaning more towards a holiday scent but would consistently work as a night fragrance any time you're in the appropriate temperature. This is very clearly unisex and if anything I would say this is more feminine than anything. While the presentation is obviously not amazing it's the juice that counts and this is one of the best bang for your buck inspirations of Angels' Share by Kilian out there. This price is basically unbeatable for what you get but again you need to be patient with this one.

As the fragrance settles, the heart reveals a beautifully balanced blend of cinnamon, tonka bean, and oak. The cinnamon adds a subtle spice that’s never overpowering, while the tonka bean brings a creamy, slightly nutty warmth. The oak note grounds the composition with a woody depth, giving it a sophisticated edge. The real magic happens in the base. The dry-down is a smooth, velvety mix of praline, vanilla, and sandalwood. The praline adds a touch of gourmand sweetness, reminiscent of a delicate dessert, while the vanilla is soft and comforting. The sandalwood ties it all together with a creamy, woody finish that lingers beautifully on the skin. It’s the kind of scent that feels like a warm hug but with an air of mystery and allure. While inspired by Kilian’s Angels’ Share, Kismet Magic captures a similar boozy, vanilla-rich DNA but stands on its own with a slightly lighter, more wearable feel. It’s not as dense as some gourmand fragrances, making it versatile enough for both day and night. I’ve worn it to a casual dinner and received compliments, but I can also see it being perfect for a cozy night in or a special occasion. On my skin, it projects nicely for the first few hours and then settles into a pleasant, close-to-skin scent that lasts most of the day. It’s not a beast-mode fragrance, but for the price point, it’s more than respectable. Overall, Kismet Magic is a delightful surprise. It’s warm, inviting, and just the right amount of sweet without being cloying. If you’re a fan of boozy, vanilla-based fragrances with a touch of spice and wood, this is definitely worth trying.

Smells amazingggg. It’s strong and long-lasting; however, there is leakage at the cap when you use it. It’s a little annoying after a while but for the price, it’s amazing value.

I received my bottle of kismet Magic today. I put five or six squirts on and this is about 2 hours later and it's still projecting fairly well. It smells really good the only problem is it smells very similar to perfume I believe it's more of a woman saying than a man's. I like the smell of it I'm just not liking the feminine scent. I'm a man's man kind of guy I do construction work and where work boots daily so for me this is a little too feminine and sweet smelling. Although it smells very good I don't know how close to Angel share it is because I've never got a chance to test Angel share but if this is close to Angel share then I would say it's a little too feminine as well for me. I'm more of a Creed Adventist type guy. Before the price it smells amazing and if you really like that type of sweet smelling cologne / perfume then for the amount this is a great deal I definitely say go for it but if you're a rough neck hard working type of guy I would recommend going a different route. Ok ive been trying it and I have definitely change my mind. After wearing it a while I began to warm up to it it smells much like a boozy warm apple pie. That's not something I would wear to work but I put some on the other night and went and gave my girl a hug and she literally said she got chills and showed me the Goosebumps on her arm that I smell so good so I had to reconsider and now it has grown on me and become possibly my favorite or at least one of my favorites so I highly recommend it it's something that would be more and more on a date night or when you are wanting to be romantic or turn your girl on. So yes go for it my only complaint is is it doesn't project real heavy it's more of a lingering scent on you that lasts for hours but someone has to get close to you or give you a hug most of the time to spell it or maybe catch your wind as you pass by they might catch a small hint of it and I'm talking five six squirts minimum.

This was a blind buy for me as I live where there are no department stores or malls. I watched many videos on this fragrance to kind of get an idea of what to expect and what every video said about this fragrance is true. This is a beautiful warm, vanilla, boozy fragrance. A lot of videos have stated that this is an extremely close dupe of Kilian Angels Share and while I've never been able to smell Angels Share itself, I can say that I'm sure it's an amazing fragrance. Right when you spray it on, you get this spicy rum and what smells like a juicy plum note that lasts for around 10 minutes then smothens out to a beautiful smooth version of that opening. Amazing date night fragrance in my opinion.As far as performance, I got about 6 hours of projection and from hours 7-12 it was a skin scent. On clothes the fragrance last a few days reminding you of that beautiful rum and vanilla. All in all, if you're on a tight budget and want to smell like Kilian Angels Share, you won't regret buying this. PRO TIP - This is for anyone just getting into fragrances or wanting their fragrances to project longer - Make sure you're applying a non scented lotion or a lotion that matches the fragrance you're going to be using. This helps hydrate your skin but also gives your fragrances something to hold on to rather than just being dried up into your skin killing the performance. I feel like no one really talks about this and there's a good amount of people out there that don't know about it.

When I read the description of this fragrance, I was all...the.... way.... IN. Kismet Magic arrived on time, and I'm not sure why, but my bottle seemed to be a bit older because some of the fragrance was leaking out and the sprayer was a bit discolored. This seems like an isolated incident, so do not allow that to discourage you from purchasing. This is a new type of fragrance for me, but I decided I would try it. I am use to very sweet fragrances, so I decided to try this and see if it's a bit different than what I am use to. I sprayed Kismet on my wrist and it is STRONG!!! It's like the bartender hooked me up with an extra shot of whiskey in a lovely well blended cocktail....but in fragrance form. 😋 Wooooo. Yummy!!! I could smell the chocolate, oud and cinnamon. Allllll the way boozy much to my delight. But then, the fragrance dies down to a more subtle milk chocolately decadent smokey fragrance. This is the way it ended up smelling on ME with my body chemistry. For me this was a different experience that I would welcome time and time again. It's smells delicious! Not too sweet! Not too bitter. Toasted just right. Would I buy Kismet Magic again?? YES. YES. YES. The staying power of Kismet leaves something to be desired. Meaning, if you spray a little on the pressure points of your body thinking ONE spray will last throughout the day, then you are in for a major disappointment. Although Kismets initial spray was sprayed on with all of the strength in the world, it dries down to a softer very subtle fragrance. If you want to smell Kismet, this is a perfume you will HAVE to spray ALOT of. I'm just being honest here. **Check your expectations folks.** 🤷🏻‍♀️ This fragrance is around about $20. I do not think it is fair to expect a $20 fragrance to perform like a $150 fragrance would. I'm just being clear about this before you think of purchasing it. I had to spray alot just to get any projection. So, I layer it with Choco-Musk and doing so really helps this fragrance stay longer. Also, I make sure my skin is moisturized prior to applying. But if you do not wish to add another fragrance to layer it with, don't expect Kismet to last for long. It's a fragrance I would have to carry with me, and re-up on it at least a few times more throughout the day. For me, that is not something I mind. With that being said, I was complimented about my waft of fragrance as I passed by some co-workers.😏 Caramel like and decadent. I do wish Kismet had more staying power and projection, but it doesn't. This can also be said for many body sprays on the market with the very SAME price point. Ahem...*cough cough* "Bath and Body Works". Should you buy it? For $20+? YES and YES. I do not regret this purchase, and I thought to review it because it was a pleasant surprise for me, and I hope it is for you too. Just remember to put a bit in a travel size bottle so you can spray through the day! 😉🤩

First off, my review will change in the next coming months. Incredible appearance in a beautiful bottle. The smell is pleasant but at the same time faint. Its a good background scent that settles the longer it rests on you. I can still smell it after a few hours. It has a horse alchol smell though, which is where my review might change. Ill rest my bottle and spritz it every so often. After 6 months if it no longer has that smell and seems to settle into its scent more I will give it a 5 star. I would recommend it still even before my 6 month test ends. Ill set a reminder on my phone. Cheers!.
