I recently got a new perfume: Maison Alhambra Kismet Magic, and my first impressions are nothing short of enchanting. The fragrance arrives in a sleek, black cardboard box with gold embossed lettering, exuding a sense of luxury. The bottle itself is a simple yet sophisticated round glass design, capped with a golden lid that feels substantial in hand. Maison Alhambra has put thought into making this perfume feel special even before the first spray.Kismet Magic is a warm, inviting oriental vanilla fragrance. The journey begins with a top note of cognac, delivering a rich, boozy sweetness that feels both indulgent and refined—like sipping a fine spirit by a crackling fire. As the fragrance settles, the heart reveals a beautifully balanced blend of cinnamon, tonka bean, and oak. The cinnamon adds a subtle spice that’s never overpowering, while the tonka bean brings a creamy, slightly nutty warmth. The oak note grounds the composition with a woody depth, giving it a sophisticated edge.The real magic happens in the base. The dry-down is a smooth, velvety mix of praline, vanilla, and sandalwood. Kismet Angel has been renamed to Kismet Magic (probably for legal reasons)I went back and forth between this, Khamrah, and another one. This was cheaper, and could be delivered much quicker to me. Plus a lot of reviews said this is really really good and stands on its own, so I went with this.I used this immediately on a fresh shower, about 3 sprays and it lasted for HOURS and projected HEAVILY.This is a moderately warm, sweet, vanilla, booze, apple pie, caramel type of scent. It’s a reworking of Kilian Angels Share. Never smelled the OG but DANG. This is a BEAST. Warm weather wearers be warned.I use this primarily as a layering scent now. One spray is literally all you need. This is LOUD. I say that because it can almost be sickeningly sweet. I like sweet scents and candy, and vanilla. This is all that on steroids. Seriously.Smells amazing. Didn’t own anything like it. It’s very unique and stands on its own in my collection. I’ve been laying this on top of Versace Man Eau Fraiche and the combo is quite good to me.It adds an extra little bump to take what you’re wearing into a new olfactory dimension.Wearing this as its own scent is totally fine. Just be aware, you may tire of it pretty quickly if you go more than a spray or two. It’s sillage heavy.People are gonna notice you right off the bat. Whether they say anything or not. Trust you will be smelled.Value for money is crazy good on this. Makes me wanna try out Khamrah as well just because I hear they’re decently different but share the same DNA.Good blind buy for me if you want something new and like the scent description and got a few extra bucks to spend.Sweet booze vanilla apple pie. 🥧

I wasn’t sure what to expect based on mixed reviews, but I couldn’t love this fragrance more!I recently went and sprayed AS at Sephora and wasn’t 100% convinced that I wanted to spend $300+ for a bottle, because it is very boozy. So I decided to get this instead to see how I like the DNA. Needless to say I am obsessed with this scent, a tiny half spray gave me 10+ hours, and it smells heavenly, like a rich spicy apple pie. To be honest I prefer this over the original, it’s smoother with more of a pronounced apple scent. Perfect for fall. I wish fall would arrive, as currently it’s in the mid 90’s here in SoCal, so I can wear it more!For the price you can’t beat this, I find that Mason Alhambra is underrated, most focus on Lataffa the parent company.

Smells like a good clone of Angel Share, and if you want to try it without spending the big bucks, it's worth buying. Doesn't last as long as I would have liked. But it's perfectly ok.
