I bought these to replace a cheap pair I had that broke. They work all the way down to 0.08mm and up to 16mm bootlace ferrules, cheap pair only did between 0.25mm and 6mm. These ones also give a nice square crimp that can help them fit into some devices whereas my previous pair did an oblong crescent like crimp that sometimes were too wide to fit the same device. They are a bit pricey but Knipex is a brand I have trusted for the past 12 years as they are of a quality build.

Expensive but great
Works fantastically. Used in anger on a whole house rewire, everything from 1mm2 to 10mm2 stranded cables. You do get what you pay for, much better than my last set of crimps.

Best crimpers I have used
I have used these for a few months now and they are the best crumpets I have owned. The list price is rather expensive, but unless you lose them they appear extremely well made and come with a warranty so should be good for a number of years

Top Crimpzange aber bei 2 x 10² ist Schluss.
Es gab einige Gründe warum ich mich für diese Zange entschieden habe. 1. Sie ist produziert in Deutschland! Das kann jeder anders sehen, aber wenn wir nix mehr aus unserem Land kaufen, was bei uns auch produziert wird, sind wir über kurz oder lang durch. 2. Knipex ist ein renomierter Hersteller bei dem ich auch schon Ersatzteile für jahrzehntealte Werkzeuge bekommen habe. das gefällt mir. 3. Ich arbeite mit dieser Zange beruflich und bin sehr zufrieden damit. 4. Ich brauche qualitativ hochwertiges Werkzeug. Und ich nehme es ihm persönlich übel wenn es mir (wie immer am Samstag Nachmittag) kaputt geht. Diese Crimpzange ist über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Aber bei 2 x 10² ist Schluss. Heißt Doppelte Aderendhülsen mit zwei 10² drin lassen sich noch pressen, mehr geht aber nicht. Das reicht aber für die normale Hausinstallation völlig aus. Ich bin sehr froh, dass ich jetzt auch privat diese Zange habe und benutze sie täglich. Würde ich sie wieder kaufen? Ganz sicher !
