Great for increasing grip strength
About 6 months ago I started using the gripers. On my first order i bought the 100lbs resistance and I was able to close it 3 times. Over time I realized how much I loved it and I decided to buy 3 more (150,200,and 250) the quality is amazing and I dont think theres any other grippers that are higher quality than these. In the past 6 months the only problem ive ever had is the 100lbs making a tiny squeaky noise but you can barely hear it. Finally after 6months of training with the grippers I went from 3closes with 100lbs to 30+ easily. Id say these are 100% worth it and I will continue to use them for the rest of my life.

I now have Superman Hands! Seriously!
I wanted to both increase the fine and gross motor strength and improve the flexibility/dexterity in my lower arms, wrists, hands and fingers because I juggle. I was also getting a touch of arthritis.I alternate both the 100 and 150 grips. I keep them at the bedside and do them while I watch TV. I will probably not go beyond the 150 resistance but will just increase the reps at 150. I ordered a second 100lb grip for my truck to use on trips.Have I seen an improvement? Oh yeah!!! Within a week I noticed a major difference not only with ball/bag handling but in things around the house. I can now open jars with POWER and I have a much better grip (six months later). It doesn't take a lot of exercising ... I just do as many as I can with each hand once or twice a night and that's it (at most). I also play with them in my truck. Also, the wee bit of arthritis I had in my hands appears to have completely vanished. I take no meds.5 stars. One of my better purchases. Low cost and great results.

Works great, not too easy, not too tough
Durability: Out of the box, the build quality feels solid. No looseness in the handles, no creaking when squeezed. I don't know how these will hold up. Will update the review if they start to fall apart.Grip: some people complain about the metal handles being too rough on their palms. I was expecting this to be painful, but I find the textured metal to be just right. I'm an office worker ... so it's not like I have rough hands that can take a beating. Also, for those of you wondering which version to get... here's some calibration help. I'm 38 and not in excellent or even above average physical shape. I don't lift or exercise regularly. I am able to close the 150lb version of these five times in a row on each hand, which seems about right.

AS GOOD AS THE "OTHER" BRAND AND COSTS LESS!!!
The 'other' brand has the same IRON clad warranty but has a MIND to keep it's prices higher. Heavy grip is just as good if not better but is priced for the working guy/girl and is not only made of equally high quality material and workmanship their customer service is well known as is their warranty.Mine arrived a day early and I went to work on it and IMHO I like the way Heavy Grip fits my hand and like the quality feel better than the other brand. I don't and never did have any problems with the 'other' brand that has Heavy Grip as it's only real competitor, no complaints at all...but, I prefer not only the feel of this product but also appreciate the price set to make it easier for the average person to own a quality product like this as well as the customer support which honestly is much, much better than the 'other' brand.Next payday I will buy the set of 3 or 4 that take me through the entire course of this company's great collection of hand and arm strength training equipment.

Good, rugged grip strengthening device
I have very small hands, and it's sometimes hard to hang on to a pull-up bar for a long time, or a barbell during a workout. I wanted to get this to work specifically on my grip, and, yikes, this thing is hard. I probably should have gotten 100lbs, because the first week was pretty rough. I did get used to it, and got stronger, so now this feels like the right amount of weight. This is a good, very solid product. There are no bells an whistles like padded handles and whatever. The knurling will hurt at first, but resist the urge to tape it - my hands got used to this in just a couple of days. Having looked around quite a bit before buying this, the price is a very good one for 150lbs of resistance.I am not noticing any visible muscle "bulk," but definitely noticing a huge improvement in grip strength - hanging on to the bar is less of a challenge, and I can do more reps with this.

For its price its amazing.
I have 100, 200, and 250 lbs. Overall it is worth the price and lasts a surprisingly really long time. One thing to note is that the gripper is very rough on your hands and will definitely cause calluses, but I personally don't care about that. It improves your forearm and finger strength for sure.
