SeachemSeaGel Water Cleaner, 250 ml

This is a fantastic product which combines two of Seachem’s must haves especially for a reef tank, MatrixCarbon and PhosGuard. These two products perform great as stand alones but when combined work synergistically together for a very effective result.Great at reducing unwanted nutrients such as phosphate silicate and toxins. If you have unwanted algae you need this! Even if your reading 0 nitrates 0 phosphate if you have algae your readings are incorrect as test kits have limitations they cannot show you nutrients locked up in rocks etc so this product is great at getting levels down.You will need about 1 to 1.5 grams of product per litre of water if your readings are low or you don’t have a particular issue go for 1 if you have an issue with high nutrients algae or high bioload go for 1.5.As product lasts for months it is very economical to use one 500ml (455g) tub will be good for a 25 gallon / 100 litre nano for a year !

I always use this product. Great at filtering and keeping the water pure and clear. Helps filter out chemicals and also phosphates.My fish seem to like it as does the heavily planted aquarium. They are all brightly coloured and healthy.I use an external filter where I put this with Purigen.Needs a good rinse through (tepid water) before putting it in or you will have black water.Lasts a good while if you rinse it when cleaning the filter.
