I got these for use after my cervical epidural steroid injections and for managing general spine pain. They took 5 weeks to arrive, so keep that in mind when ordering. They didn't make it in time for my first injection and I ended up with a bruise; I used a regular ice pack and it didn't always stay where I needed it and I either didn't start soon enough or didn't use it long enough. Anyway, I had the wraps ready for the second injection and took one in a small cooler with me to the hospital and put it on before heading home. They are very flexible and conform easily to the neck. I have had to redistribute the gel a bit, but that is pretty easy to do by putting them on the floor and kneading the gel over to even it out when they are thawed. I found that using a medium binder clip to hold the ends together is helpful and allows me to be mobile and not have to hold it where I need it with my hand or a pillow since the injection site is on the right side of my neck. The soft lining is great and I don't need to put anything else on it like I do with my regular ice packs. Once frozen for a couple of hours, each lasts more than an hour. I'm not sure how long because I put it on my neck for 20-30 minute and then lay it flat with the other side up to go under my back for another 20-30 minutes and then refreeze it and then alternate with the other one the next time. They look to be well made and durable and will work for what I need them for. Using a binder clip or two, they can also be used to wrap other body parts like an ankle or knee. The price is reasonable for two when compared to similar items and the size makes them versatile for using on other body parts besides the neck. These were a great buy to keep in the freezer for use when needed and they don't take up a lot of room in the freezer due to their flexibility and thickness, which allows them to be folded or laid flat or otherwise bent to fit a space.Edit: The price has gone up since I purchased them. I always have sore shoulders and definitely a sore neck. I do like this ice pack a lot because after a few minutes of being out of the freezer it starts to conform to your body. The reviews I read about it leaking happened to us too, however my husband showed me why. When you are placing the ice pack back in the freezer, lay it flat and spread the gel evenly throughout the ice pack. Doesn't have to be perfect, but if distributed evenly it won't leak. What happens if the gel would get frozen in a "clump" if you will, because we weren't trying to make it even. This was making too much gel on one specific spot and causing it to tear a little in the area with too much gel. Actually an easy fix. I actually wear mine to the grocery store sometimes too. Could be better so it doesn't leak at all, but not bad if you just give it a few seconds before putting it in freezer.

This neck/shoulder ice pad is great. It conforms easily and does stay cold for quite awhile. I kept the plastic zip bag to store in the freezer. So glad I bought it.

Gets cold and remains cold. Slightly too inflexible to conform to the body when fully frozen. Seems well made, but a seam broke, surprisingly, after two years of moderate use. Might have bought again otherwise.

I've been using this for my frozen shoulder. It helps quite a bit. Ice pack is a good size and its not too heavy. It's great value for the money. Just relax and let it drop on your shoulders. Usually pop it in the fridge or freezer depending how cold I want it to be. Quality is pretty good.
