Delivery:Item arrived within the time period stated by amazon via email,the food container& scope were all in perfect condition.I can see where some people may receiveitems damaged if they have not been handled carefully(by the courier)as this is madeof(hard)plastic.********NOTE********This following review is for the 12gk container only!Curver Petlife Food Container 12 Kg/ 35 Litre CapacityThe curver petlife food container is made from a (seemly)hard durable slightly flexiblemolded plastic.It has two lids at the top of the container,one for filling which is the mainlid &,one for quick(er) easy access when you`re using the supplied scope.The scopedoes come locked into the top of the container but,it is easier to leave it on top of thefood inside(if possible)as,the plastic tags that hold if are tight & some may find it difficultto release the scope from the inside of the lid.Now others have stated that one or bothlids are hard to open,I can only assume this is where the "hermetically sealed" comesinto play to keep food fresh,before opening if you just take a good little look at the plasticcatches,you`ll be able to figure them out(if I can,most can),take your time,be gentle atfirst & they`ll open concerning the scope tags,they`re a little harder so if you think you`llend up breaking,just leave it of the tags.(This is where I`m going to get daggers)My "objective" view is that the 12KG" HOLDSMUCH MORE THAN 12KG`S....this is backed up by me using a luggage scale weigherto weigh our container when it was full.We already had a half full container then I purchaseda 12KG bag & managed to fit nearly 3 quarters of the bag into the half full container.So Ithought I`ll weigh the full container for the purpose of this review & from five(5) weighing`sthe minimum was a "little over" 15GK max was about 16KG`s so,I can safely say that ourshas "15KG" inside it right now.I must state that the dog kibble(people should know that"biscuit" & treats will be larger)is quite small(Simpsons Premier Puppy Food)it is a littlelarger than a garden green pea so,this is the reason why we`ve managed to fit so mcuh in toa "12GK" container.Conclusion:If your after a air(Hermetically sealed)tight dog food container that has two lids,has movability(wheels),comes with a sturdy scope,12gk`s but holds more(if food is on the small size),nice tolook at,&(seemingly)value for money,the Curver Petlife Dog Food Container may suit your &your dog/s needs,recommended 5 stars.If this item falls below the standards I`ve stated in this review,I will update accordingly,thankyou for reading & I sincerely hope you get the same value we have.

As with the majority of Curver products this is well designed and put together. I expect it will last a very long time.The wheels are strong and move easily both empty and full.The clip on the larger opening (the one at the front) is a little flimsy but works okay keeping the food dry and secure.The top hatch is plenty big enough to get the food out using the green scoop which is included in the lid.I would have preferred it to be plain rather than the dogs on the outside but that's just my choice.I have a golden retriever and he has 12kg sacks of medium sized kibble, it fits in really well.

This is excellent, fit's perfectly in a corner of our kitchen & looks good, seals really well so little noses can't smell it! Almost fit a 15kg bag of food in & the bit that didn't fit was his dinner for a couple of days so no bother at all, came with a good scoop. Whole lid opens to pour food in then smaller lid for when your measuring out the food.

I like this product but the lid is not always easy to open and the scoop is virtually impossible to extract from its holder inside the lid. I have left it in place and use my own scoop. Apart for this, I like the product because it has a fun design, is compact and holds a 12kG bag of dog meal easily with some room to spare and it looks so much better in the kitchen than just having an open bag.

Fast and efficient shipping.This curver is very useful as it helps keeping dog food fresh, and not having dog food bags all around the house. In this particular size, the curver fits perfectly in a corner of my kitchen, and it's also aesthetically pleasing to see.The curver has two lids: one bigger to refill dog food, and one smaller to scoop up the food when needed. There's also a green medium scoop, which perfectly fits on the inside of the smaller lid.All in all, I'm very satisfied with this curver, which is very useful and resistant, and not even that expensive.

After reading the previous reviews for this product I decided to buy one. It is sturdy and easy to store, doesn't take up much room. It is easy to open and shut and holds what it says (12kgs). I bought a 13kg bag of food and keep the remainder in the house. The new container is kept in a garage and is keeping the food dry as stated. I probably thought at the time that it was quite expensive for what you were getting, however, it is on wheels, is light to push about, is sturdy and hopefully will last for a while.

Had one of these years ago so ordered another one to keep my dogs dry kibble in. To me the plastic doesn't seem as sturdy as the previous one and at the first attempt of opening the catch on the smaller lid it snapped (see photo). I'm not heavy handed and was surprised and disappointed at how easily this happened. I can still open it but it is quite stiff and now a bit awkward due to the catch breaking. When the kibble gets lower I use the bigger lid anyway so it's no big deal just wanted to point out the catches do seem a bit flimsy.Good points are that it is very light, wheels work well and it does seem airtight, also not too big so it doesn't take up too much room.I would recommend it but just be extra careful when using the smaller lid opening

Got the 12kg for a friend as I already have three, 1 12kg & 2 20kg. They are a great container for pet food as they are sealed properly at the openings and keep the food completely fresh. They also prevent any nosey pets getting at the food. Might be a bit expensive but I feel they're worth it. The 20kg takes the standard 15kg of dog food easily though I don't think it would manage 20kg of it. The 12kg one I use for cat food and I put in a 10kg bag into it. They look well and do exactly what I want of them.
