The product is fine although a little on the heavy side; however, one flaw is the lack of a velcro strap to hold the tray in place. A disabled person unable to use their hands to assist the carer in holding the tray against the back of the neck makes the process of washing hair difficult or at least awkward. I have to fold the very long strap and secure with a peg either side to get the tray held in position which still leaves a gap between the neck and tray allowing some water to run down the neck (although I do have a towel under the tray to catch this run-off). As I said, the tray is a little on the heavy side which means gravity tends to pull it away from the neck unless it is secure. The idea, however, is a good one.

Very clever. Previous problems now eliminated: back pain from leaning forwards for carers to wash hair + skin on my face itching from shampoos & chemicals in tap water + lather in ears making wax swell & ruining my hearing + lather & fingers in your eye + edges of hair missed so above your ears & fringe are missed looking greasy + top of head & forehead itchy for not being rinsed. 1 carer laughed because I praised her for washing both sides of my head because few do. Then she said she noticed someone on TV just washing 1 side of someone's head. This gadget = easier for carers to see your features & your hair line & wash properly & more comfortably

I bought this item for my elderly grandmother, who has a bad back, to help with washing her hair. I did find it a bit awkward to use at first, and my nan did say it was uncomfortable, however mamaged it in the end and the item turned out to be a real help.

Found it good to use, a little uncomfortable,but does the job it's meant to do. It's made of really strong material. Glad I bought it.

It does the job, it I plan to pad the neck with pipe insulation as it is uncomfortable on my neck.

I purchased this as I had spine surgery so unable to get into shower right now and wash my own hair.It’s very easy to use,I popped a towel around my neck so it could rest on the opening of tray.Great item
