Gentle cleanser meant to be applied to dry skin. Not unscented as currently stated in listing.
ATZEN Clean Natural Effective Cleansing Milk Facial Cleanser 6.8 fl ozI haven’t used a cleansing milk before so have no similar comparison, but this, along with a gentle rose cleanser I have, will be my go-to cleansers for winter. I like this one because it’s very gentle (it’s made for sensitive/allergic skin and is pH balanced) but it cleans my combination skin well. To my nose there’s a soft, subtle fragrance (almost unscented) that doesn’t linger; the ingredient list only tells me that it contains “natural fragrance (from flowers and plants)”.The cleanser arrived in a box covered in plastic for safety. The 6.8 fl oz / 200 ml bottle is a good size and there’s a clear plastic lid to cover the pump. I’ve been using two to three pumps (it’s a good pump) to clean my face and neck. The milky, lightweight cleanser is meant to be applied without water, which is different for me; my instinct is to use water. The directions should clearly state to use on dry skin, but they don’t.Apply the thin white cleanser (it doesn’t lather) to your dry face and massage it in with circular motions. The cleanser was absorbed a bit into my skin as a little time went by. Once done simply rinse off with water. My face felt clean but amazingly soft – I think that’s because the cleanser is absorbed a bit. I waited about thirty minutes after using it for the first time (I’ve been using it for six days) to see how my face felt without applying anything else: soft but definitely wanting at least a light moisturizer. The box, like the listing, gives helpful instructions on the order in which products should be used for those that are new to having a skincare system: 1. Cleanser, 2. Toner, 3. (Optional) Serum/Corrective product, 4. Moisturizer, and 5. Sun Block. An icon on the bottle says the cleanser is good for 6 months after opening, and an EXP date of 12/2025 is stamped on the bottom of the box. No nasties and cruelty-free. Some of the ingredients are certified organic. Vegan. Made in the U.S.A.

A gentle, good cleaner that costs too much in my opinion.
This is a decent milk cleanser, the box says that it's good as a makeup remover so I put that to a test. I used 5 different liquid eyeliners a few waterproof and a few non-waterproof and a liquid lipstick and foundation on my hand. The first wash did remove a significant amount of the makeup as shown in the pictures I've attached. The second wash got the majority of the remaining makeup off my hand but there was still foundation in the small cracks of my skin. So, I wouldn't use this as your only makeup remover...I would suggest using a cleansing soap or makeup remover first and then going in with this afterward to remove any remaining products from your face. The only negative I see is the price, 54.00 USD for a face cleanser...I don't get why it costs that much. Overall, I think it's a good gentle cleanser that does clean your face but costs way too much.

Gentle and pH balanced, does not clean eye make up well
I have been using an inexpensive but effective pH balanced face cleaner for the last 10 years or so, but with the harsher winter months coming up, thought I would give this cleansing milk a try. It is a very calming cleanser, and I haven't had any issues with it such as irritation or breakouts. It does not irritate my eyes when washing my make up off at the end of the day, but it is not effective at all for cleaning eye make up (and I really don't wear a lot).I have found that if a use a pump of this cleanser for each quadrant of my face, it works relatively well (except for when I wear eye make up). I've been trying for about 3 weeks to figure out the best way to effectively use this for my eyes, but haven't quite figured out the formula yet.My face feels great after using this, not heavily moisturized, just soft. I imagine this is what a young childs face might feel like. Very nice. The ingredients in here are pretty clean, with no parabens, carcinogens or hormone disruptors. I like that.I do feel it is costly for having to either wash your face twice each time, or take another step to remove eye makeup. If you don't wear make up, you will absolutely love this!

Gentle and hydrating while cleansing
Excellent cleansing milk that leaves your face squeaky clean without stripping it of moisture. It removed my eye makeup pretty well and I only needed to use a small cotton pad with eye makeup remover to take away a small amount of residue. Otherwise it removed it almost entirely. This cleansing milk is super gentle and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry or irritated but still have that “squeaky” clean feeling without a residue. It’s very soothing and calming and prepares your skin for your toner and serum. Excellent to remove the impurities left behind from being out in the elements. If you don’t have makeup remover, you can put a small amount on a cotton swab to remove any excess residue left behind by mascara and eyeliner. It’s super gentle. I have very sensitive and allergic skin so I was impressed that it doesn’t irritate my eyes even despite being such an effective cleanser. Super nice!

Great nightly rinse.
I use this prior to bed and it works great. It doesn't strip the skin of oils but it does leave a nice, smooth, clean platform for your nightly skin care routine. It is very thin. Milky in look and almost like a very high fat content milk but not quite cream in feel. The first time I used it I didn't believe it was working because my face didn't feel tight like the oils had been stripped out. That's how it's supposed to feel.Get away from the bar soap and get yourself a real cleanser that doesn't wreck your skin.
