This blanket is a beautiful red colorant very nicely made. It is heavy for how small it is. I love the weight on my legs when I sit on the couch and we use it with our kids to help them sit calmly and read or as they fall asleep (they look like a turtle and it falls off so only moderate success with that) it has also become a favorite toy and has held up well to some rough housing. Very pleased with this product.

Searched hi & lo for a weighted lap blanket....settled on this one, & it's perfect. I wanted one to take with me to dentist appointments(due to leftover phobia from childhood trauma,blah,blah,blah).....anyway, this little throw does the trick. Initially thought 7lbs would be too light(I wanted 10lbs) but, turns out it's totally adequate....for reference, I'm 5'6"/110lbs. I often ask to keep the "xray apron" on me, if no one else is using it, lol. They happily oblige but, now I have my own "snuggy"!! Honestly, there really IS a science to this "weighted blanket" thing....feels like a secure "hug" for your whole body. As others have attested, there's a whole plethora of uses for weighted blankets, and I believe these blankets/throws can be VERY helpful, no matter your issue. I sprinkled a few EO Lavender drops on it, as well....ready to go for next dentist appt,lol!!Also, PS, comes in a lovely box w/carrier case.....would make a great gift for any fellow anxiety sufferers! Very happy with this purchase, YaY!!! :)

I received a queen Sherpa not too long ago from a different seller and within a month of using the beads where leaking out, rapidly too. Just got this one and it is just what I want! Something small heavy but not too heavy. I’m 5’7” and this will cover my lower half perfectly. This will help me have just a simple weighted blanket that I can travel with☺️

I am a back sleeper and put the blanket on my chest and abdomen at night. I have been using this blanket for a few weeks after getting it for Christmas. Whle it definitely helps me get to sleep, I find it too heavy for the enitre night. I wake up and must remove itduring the middle of the night. A 3-4 lb blanket is probabaly what I need.

It is soft and the weight is great. But it is just too small. If you are putting it on your lap.. it might be okay. I wanted it to go over my torso and arms for travel or the dentist office. It’s just a little too small for that and kind of oval shaped.

This is a nice little weighted 'blanket.' It is small, good for placing on your legs or abdomen. Full-sized weighted blankets are too much for me, they are way too constricting, but this product is really nice. You get the weighted feeling without it being overwhelming. I benefit from placing it on my chest if I'm having a really bad day. It's also nice to place on your lap or legs.

I had a twin size weighted blanket before and it was just too bulky. This lap sized one is perfect! Weight is just right. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and the weight of it feels great on my hips and upper legs. It’s very relaxing. Definitely happy I downsized to this one. I threw the twin size one in the trash.

After trying a weighted blanket I hated it on my legs especially pressing down on my knees. This one is perfect. Just covering my body and easy to throw off if I get to hot.
