A perfect replacement. It has only a plastic coated chrome finish on the top, however my original unit (which came with a very expensive walk-in shower was only of equivalent quality). Really superb value for money, so much so I shall be ordering a second for my other shower. Cannot fault it. So we bought this one - slightly different style. We didn't want the hassle and cost of removing the current unit so only replaced the inner part with the chrome hair trap. Although the chrome hair trap doesn't sit flush with the shower tray and is slightly raised, it does the job and is hardly noticeable.
