Necessary if you need to replace your chrome hair trap
When the teeth in the chrome lid of our shower hair trap broke, we only then realised that this part is not replaceable and that the complete unit was discontinued. So we bought this one - slightly different style. We didn't want the hassle and cost of removing the current unit so only replaced the inner part with the chrome hair trap. Although the chrome hair trap doesn't sit flush with the shower tray and is slightly raised, it does the job and is hardly noticeable. It was a cheaper and easier solution to replacing the hair trap.

Great product, unfortunately due to hubby always being right, hahahahaha, ...........not!! we ordered the wrong size!!! We wanted to replace just the internal cup in our shower but couldn't find just the cups so ordered the whole fixture and thought we'd order a second for our upstairs bathroom which will be fitted later this year. Luckily we'll be able to use one of the fittings for this. As the product was so cheap to purchase, our mistake isn't a big problem. Will definitely use this company again. Late delivery but again, not the company's fault. We had to have it initially delivered to my mums in UK and then she sent it over to us in Greece. Sadly too many strikes in Greece including postal!!

Good value for money but for personal use I would prefer a little better quality. Okay for rented property as it does the job and looks okay but after only a few months, mine has started to corrode underneath.
