Absolute bargain
The media could not be loaded. Great watch, really comfortable, nice and easy to read, looks great in the wrist, Sekonda is such value for money. I got mine from the Amazon warehouse for £15 as it said it was used/returned, not a scratch or mark on it! Definitely hadn't been worn or even tried on

clear display, military style watch.
Good basic watch, looks robust, luminous hands and hours. Only issue I have is that it's a darker blue than the site picture lead me to expect. As others have said, the strap is short, long enough for me but not for a builders arm. Straight forward strap fitting so no issue with changing/replacing it as needed.Good value for money I think.

AWESOME
For the price, this is an excellent and lovely field watch, and I am more than satisfiedPROS: Easy to read, sharp looking, extremely reliable (probably THE most accurate Quartz, that I ever owned!), just right size (42 mm), matt aluminium-ish caseCONS: Snap-on back, more than cheap and too short canvas strap, not quite waterproof (do not risk ANY splashing!), a very sharp and aggressive crown edge that will unpleasantly cut your wrist! (I've solved that issue with a "Bund" strap)Would I buy it again? Absolutely YES! ♥

Stylish functionality
Sekonda watches have never let me down. I bought my first USSR Sekonda Classic in the early 80's. It gave me decades of trouble free service. It took far more abuse than it should have. Sekonda haven't changed, this watch is a slight larger field type watch if the type relied upon by service personnel the world over.Simple clean lines, knurled crown, protected with crown lugs. Nice clear, easy to read face with large numbers. There is lume, it's not going to light up your world, but it's good enough (if you want more than that, buy a torch). The supplied strap is pants, I swapped it immediately with a NATO strap, you will need a 22mm width strap (mine is 20mm and works fine).A simple reliable watch that looks fab, keeps time and doesn't scream "mug me" when out and about, but does have an understated elegance in a roughty tuffty way.Key features:Decent sizeClear face.Useable lume.Water resistant 50m (tested, true).Well worth waiting for Amazon price fall events. Still, at full price, this is a bargain. I'm a radio presenter and need a reliable watch, this hasn't let me down.

you get what you pay for !
I was looking forward to this, I want a spare watch to give my smart watch and me a break from time to time,on found it hard to use the date window is too small for me ,and the me hanism just doesn't feel solid ,it does look OK and Sekonda make lovely watches, I should have returned it ,but inkept it as I should have chosen more wisely and it wasn't expensive and as a simple watch it works OK, If you need a simple watch and your not bothered about the date, then this is great value ,if your experienced with watches then perhaps this isn't the right one.

Good value for money
Upon receiving this watch I was a bit disappointed, as I was searching for a manual wind up watch, and saw this as an automatic I assumed it to be a wind up and like the Sekonda I had years ago was a wind up and as long as you wearing it it is automatic. This one unfortunately is battery, I personally dislike battery, anyway I liked this watch and find so far time keeping is good. The date is small but reading previous reviews on setting the date I was a bit dubious, but it is easy to do. It is a 24 hour time piece I found that the date changes at 12:am. I got the watch yesterday and set the date, and this morning it showed correct date. However I did find the watch strap a bit small and uncomfortable, even though I have skinny wrists the straps were small. I changed it to a nylon strap and even fitted my existing watch protection so I can wear it to work not worrying of scratching the watch face.

Good Value watch! Except for the strap....and the battery
Edit: The battery died tonight: 3rd June 2023, I've only had it a month. I have lowered the Stars to 2.On 14th May I was fortunate in paying just £20.13 though prices will for this watch vary from time to time. Though I thank people who responded regarding the width of the watch strap, it is in fact, 22mm. Yes, I measured the watch using my excellent Mitutoyo caliper: 22mmThe watch strap looked nice in black. Although the strap holes are well defined, the back of the strap is vinyl, and it felt so uncomfortable that we chose a decent leather watchstrap for it, again, quick release. This watchstrap is a disappointing let-down.The Sekonda is described as "British Style, Japanese movement". This is a Miyota movement which is good in hot temperatures or cold and the Miyota quartz crystal will be highly economical. It is highly likely this watch was assembled in Japan, not China. The watch looks very distinctive, which is exactly the reason why I bought it: Its Japanese movement is most dependable! The watch case is brushed stainless steel giving the impression of being titanium. The watch face is mineral crystal and the lume is quite good, though only lasting about an hour or so, I reckon. I suppose if you wanted brighter lume, ask a local watchmaker to re-lume the hands, numbers and indices with SuperLuminova. It would be well worth paying the extra. This is what we do with all the watches we own, except Rolex or Breitling of course.Apart from the tiny date, the 43mm watch is perfect for medium to large wrists. Its Japanese Miyota movement really is excellent. Also, the knob of the watch is grippy, a nice size.I deducted 1 Star for the strap. It's exceedingly crap and if Sekonda are reading this, the sooner they supply the watch with a better strap they'll continue being downgraded in reviews.

Good watch for price
Wanted a military style watch and it fits the bill. Its a cheap watch but looks decent to be honest and not a watch to worry about. The strap yes is awful but got a nato strap for £2.99 and looks great cant get on with the standard one. Please be aware if you do the same its a 22mm strap needed not 20mm as stated. I got mine for around £22 so cant go wrong and it looks good. Photo is with the new strap.
