Amazing retractable lead , after my last one snapped inside and wouldn’t retract I was skeptical about buying another one but looked at the reviews and chose this one . It’s very long , yes the handle is quite large ( from looking at other reviews ) but I’m getting use to it . It is by far in a completely different league than my previous one , the quality feels completely different , you can just tell from how easy it just retracts back , I have now just ordered the light to go on the handle , a great little added touch . The button is is easy to use also , I really do feel in control with the well made lead , I’ve allowed my dog to walk off in front on full extension of the lead but I still feel in control and have no worries of it retracting back .Sometimes paying that little bit extra really does pay off ! The lead is easy to wipe clean with a wipe also , I chose the flat lead style , after doing his business the lead can sometime touch where it shouldn’t , so I like to give it a quick wipe over , so it’s a full five stars and more from me

A particularly excellent dog lead, it's a good size and weight, strong, made well, fits in the hand as you'd want it to, a good choice for all small to medium size dogs in my opinion, I wouldn't rely on it for a large or muscular dog breed,

I bought the Flexi New Classic 8m Retractable Dog Leash for my dog, and it’s been amazing for our walks. Whether we’re exploring wooded paths or strolling through the park, my pup gets the freedom to sniff and roam, while I still have full control. The leash is super strong, perfect for my dog who loves to explore every inch of the trail (or road). It extends smoothly, and the brake system works like a charm when I need to rein him in (squirrels!).The leash handle is comfortable to hold, even on long walks, and the 8 meters of tape give plenty of room for my dog to feel like he’s on his own adventure. It’s rated for dogs up to 50kg, and even though my dog isn’t quite that heavy, it’s nice knowing I have the security if he decides to pull a bit harder.Bonus points for how sturdy it feels, this is not one of those flimsy retractable leashes that makes you worry about it snapping! The leash rolls in and out smoothly, and the tape itself is nice and durable, even after multiple muddy walks.If you’ve got a dog that loves to explore but you still want the comfort of control, this leash is perfect. Plus, it’s surprisingly lightweight for such a strong product!

Good sturdy lead

A good quality lead. Enables my labradorite ro wonder a little further whenever cannot go off the lead. She isn't a puller so I cannot say what it would be like on a dog that pulls. Is fabulous for our girl the size is good for her. Would recommend and buy again

we got this lead a few years ago as it's the only lead that is suitable for our st Bernard.It's very good and has lasted perfectly these few years and sure no signs of wearing out.This purchase is for our second St Bernard as the current one is still going strong (I have opened it and cleaned the bearing a bit)The only issue is now the lead has a tendency to flip and introduce a fold in the lead meaning that it no longer reels in properly and you have to reel it out and manually flip the lead tape back over. The newer lead didn't suffer quite so much from this so much.The tape is quite easily strong enough to hold him, as are the ratchets of the bobin and the lock mechanism.You just need to make sure the collar or harness is equally tough 🙂Handle is comfortable to hold although not quite big enough to put my hands through with big gloves.Design is a classic Flexi style with a 'stop' button and lock initiated and released all with the thumb.The only thing I would wish to see is a tough d ring to attach a carabineer to allow the lead to be looped around trees or benches when stopped and lead is locked. Or even to hang a poo bag holder from.I just added my own per the pic.

A good sturdy lead. Reasonable price and quick free delivery. Son as used it & says it is OK & a good length to let dog have a run. I have recently injured hand so find it a bit hard to lock & release this is why son is using it mostly.

Great lead. My previous one lasted for 7 years before finally giving in. This is really light (275 grams) and love the bright yellow tape (I really dislike the thin rope versions as you can't see them and end up tripping up other people or yourself!). Also like that the tape goes all the way in so you can keep a really short lead.
