I had a soda stream machine that easily broke so I needed a replacement. After purchasing this one on Amazon I am pleasantly surprised. It works great, easy to use, and the sodastream co2 canisters also fit it perfectly. This one also seams a lot more sturdy than sodastream and a lot more reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

The media could not be loaded. The machine doesn't work as it should. I tried two brand new CO2 canisters and both did the same thing. All of the plastic that should have been around the product was in the bottom of the box. I'm pretty sure I received a machine that had been previously returned. I would have liked to exchange it since I bout it on sale and now the price is almost double what I paid, but a return was the only option other than keeping a faulty machine. I'll go with a name brand one next time.

You can extend how long the CO2 canister lasts by only filling the water bottle with only 6psi-7psi then picking up the whole device and shaking it a bit with a string grip. It causes the water to absorb more of the CO2 pressure while using about 40% less of it.Normally the device directs you to hold the button until you hear a hiss at around 10psi

We're loving our soda machine. It makes nice, refreshing, carbonated drinks that taste great. Even if you don't use any syrup, it's good. I like to use a splash of lemon, along with a tablespoon of honey for a nice, refreshing drink. We buy simple syrup and other sodastream brand syrups. All of them work and taste delicious using this machine.

Failed after just 1 month of use. It spews CO2 into the air. Customer service takes 24 hours to respond to complaints. Troubleshooting link provided is for corded models, lol. What a company, huh?Don't bother with this machine. There are plenty of other options. I suspect the company knows quality is hit or miss and has no intention of resolving the problem in a timely manner. They just hope you'll eat the cost and move on.

The pressure gauge is very helpful.

It's tricky you need to use two hands simultaneously, one hand to push the bottle up in place, while the other hand pushes the button slowly to properly seal the bottle in place and get proper pressure. When the bottle seals it creates counter pressure, and locks in place, the gauge engages, and then you have to release the pressure with other button.I bought it as a gift but tested it first because of vague unclear instructions, I was going to return it because when testing it, the water would just blast out until below the line and barely carbonated, and a huge waste of co2, but once figured out, it substantially carbonates, more so than my 2 SodaStream Fizz.. and amazon purchase Jxxm soda makers .. The Secura carbonates outperforms both as far as carbonation. Although I love the SodaStream multiple glass bottles and it came with a co2 canister (when you buy the package ) … It's still a quarter price of sodastream or half the price if you factor purchase of co2 canister ..I will order more as I'm giving them to diabetic family members... I'm hoping they work better or as consistent as the first purchase... Cons: only one bottle, cant order more bottles wish I could order extra bottles, vague instructions, no co2 canister.
