This is easy to use and does the job brilliantly. The itch is stopped immediately.The only draw back is the sensation. It works by heating the skin and is a fairly strange feeling, a little uncomfortable. I didn’t try the 6 second setting, 3 is enough.I would buy again and recommend for the instant relief of insect bites and stings.

I like this as it has no chemicals and fits in my bag or it can be carried with the strap. With not using chemicals it also doesn’t have an expiry date, which is a big bonus. It uses 2 AA batteries and heats up quite hot. The 6 second setting doesn’t feel like it gets any hotter than the 3 second one thankfully, it just lasts longer. Insects love me and I’m always getting bitten and it reduced the swelling and the itching well. It definitely made a difference.

It does work. But be aware you get a bit of a fright cause it goes hot

I purchased this to use on my grandson as he had lots of bites on him but I tried it on myself first and thank god I did because it is way too hot for children, there are 2 heat level setting and Sven the lowest one is way too hot, it’s too hot for an adult let alone a child and it’s advertised for use on young children, definitely a no no from me and very dangerous for children

I react allergic to most mosquito bites and this is the only thing that helps! Tried all creams and none of them did it for me but this pen really does help I am so surprised. Once used it won't itch anymore (yes you have to use it a few times but that's not an issue) and this takes away the pain and itch very quickly. Goodbye to all these sleepless nights that I had because of bites what a relief! The pen itself is made really nicely you can tell quality material has been used to make this. Can only recommend!

We were doubtful about this product when it arrived, especially as I couldn't feel any heating effect on bare skin.However, when on holiday in Costa Rica and both being bitten by mossies, you really can feel the heating effect on the bite! The effect after treatment is instant and lasts about 2 hours. Re-zap to keep the itching away. It's a good device! ( See update below! )Update :- We decided to pass the first one we purchased onto a relative who has children, as it is so effective. We purchased a second one for our use. However, this second one acts differently to the first. It gets far hotter and actually burns the skin, leaving a burn on the skin that takes some time to heal. I am returning this second one, as we belive it is faulty.Update2 :- We returned the second one and, still full of hope, ordered a replacement, hoping that we wouldn't get the same one back!Glad to report that the replacement one works just as well as the first one and we are pleased! Clearly the No. 2 one was faulty, as we still have the burn marks on our skin. The replacement one works well.
